“They serve Real Halal food made according to religious guidelines. Most halal food stores are focused on making money but here they providing delicious food, good customer service and good quarantine of food including sauces. Prices are great too. Mashallah, it will be the best Iftar for me and my family. This place run by great leader and will grow for sure.“

“The food was very tasty, not too spicy. We were a party of 4 and everything we ordered was fantastic. Our server was a young lady named Raman (not sure of spelling). She helped us to pick out dishes that weren’t too spicy. We had the chicken tikka appetizer which was excellent. We each ordered something different so we could sample them. We had butter chicken, chicken korma, chicken tikka and lamb vindaloo also rice and garlic naan. The food was so good. Can’t wait to go back.“

“I've meant to try this place for awhile but only got the chance today. Something about a cold winter day and butter chicken felt right. Decided to order the butter chicken (which comes with a side of rice/naan) through their proprietary app and the order process was seamless. The order was ready for pickup exactly per the estimated time and cooked on the spot. The food was surprisingly great and the portion and flavour was well done for a small joint inside a gas station. The spice level was also legit! Excited to try more of their offerings and would highly recommend this place for a warm homely meal!“
“I have been enjoying their amazing Sri Lankan style food for years. One of my favourites is the vegetable Samosas which we buy by the 100s . Remember to call ahead if you are buying in quantity for a party or something else.Just as good is the fusion chicken shawarma served on rice with garlic sauce…very yummy!!!Service is always very quick and pleasant.There is a small shelf where a few guests can enjoy their food but the majority of their business seems to be takeout…..I highly recommend Samosa Hut in Ajax.“

Would recommend Indian food lovers this place. Ambience is ok. Feels worn out a bit but not to the extent that you can’t sit and enjoy the lovely food. “We found this new Warraich Ajax location in October 2023. We were regular patrons of their 3300 McNicoll Ave spot (back when we lived in Scarborough). Our visits to the Scarborough location were mainly for marinated BBQ meat and the occasional wrap, as their curries weren't a standout feature. However, when we discovered the new location, it was a delightful surprise.Opting to try a variety, we ordered a selection of curries, including their 8-piece BBQ chicken and fish fry 2-for-1 combos. I'm thrilled to share that they have not only met but exceeded our expectations, standing out as the best Indian curries in the Durham region and perhaps even the Greater Toronto Area. Our timeline speaks for itself – we've frequented the place almost six times since October, always placing substantial orders.Our usual spread includes butter chicken, kadhai paneer, palak paneer, malai kofta, dal makhani, shahi paneer, veg manchurian, mixed veg, mutton vindaloo, and chicken biryani. Every curry boasts an authentic North Indian flair, with rich flavors and a satisfyingly thick consistency that sets them apart from other establishments that often dilute their dishes. The combination of spices is impeccably balanced, indicative of a kitchen where chefs remain consistent, avoiding frequent turnovers.It's safe to say that Durham has uncovered another Indian culinary gem, and we can only hope that this Warraich location continues to serve up its delectable offerings for the foreseeable future. “Very great place to get Hakka West Indian Chinese food. The jumbo shrimp and lobster sauce is delicious and so is the ginger chicken and vegetable noodle soup!.Don’t listen to the recent reviewer about the place being unhygienic and fruit flies all over the place, we were there when this couple was in the restaurant, they are huge complainers!. They complained non stop to the lady about the dine in service charge. They won’t get tips at this type of place that you pay up front for so of course they have this mandatory fee. Also, there are some fruit flies, but that happens sometimes at places and it’s not unhygienic at all.The lady is very friendly unless you want to complain non stop to her about a cheap dine in fee and not accept her answer!. This couple wouldn’t let it go and then went on about fruit flies to try and get the dine in fee waived!.This is a great place with great food and friendly service.“
“Delicious vegetarian fast food! Been to all locations of Veggie Planet. You can see the kitchen from the cash counter, super clean. It’s hard to find restaurants now a days that have such clean kitchen. It’s the month of Ramadan so broke my fast with poutine with added paneer in it. Loved it! Also, tried Tawa Pulao, Kawa Drumsticks & Dahi Sev Puri. All of them were fresh and tasty as always. Will be back again, God willing.“
