“I was immediately struck by the authentic Thai atmosphere upon entering. The ambiance was delightful, but the initial wait for seating was a little longer than expected, likely due to understaffing.Given the high 4.7 stars Google review mark, my expectations were high. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry, and Shrimp Curry. I was somewhat underwhelmed. I noticed that the meats seemed to be cooked separately from their sauces. On the bright side, the lunch special curries were generously filled with vegetables, which was a plus. However, I couldn't help but feel that the flavors were somewhat tailored to suit North American palates.Interestingly, I overheard a nearby table discussing their long-standing patronage, spanning an impressive 30 years. It was clear that this restaurant holds a deep sentimental value for them.“
“This was a great recommendation from our good friend. Very pleasant staff, nice n' cozy ambiance, and very good food, freshly made. I had the Cantonese Chow Mein...in a Thai restaurant! And it was the BEST I've had in decades! ???Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is at ground level.“
“First time ordering at this location. We usually go to the one in Markham. We ordered the following:1. curry chicken with bread2. special beef noodle soup (very good!)3. fried oysters (nice batter)4. BBQ lemongrass pork chop with rice (pork was tender but the rice was a bit wet).If this location wasn't that far, we'd give it a try again.“
“Loved all of our dishes and would recommend T8 highly if you like spicy and Thai curry. The sweet and sour pineapple shrimp and the vermicelli dish were also incredible! Can't go wrong with pad Thai, wontons, wonton soup or anything on this menu!“
“Located inside King Square shopping center, north of woodbine and 16th ave. This is by far the best food shop inside King Square. I was kinda blown away tbh. The food is very authentic. My friends and I ordered up PB1C (the party picnic box combo) to share. The box included sauteed shrimps, calamari, fishballs, fried chicken cartilage, grilled chicken, shrimp chips, mango salad and 3 sauces. On the side it came with mango sticky rice and 2 drinks. We chose thai milk tea (less sweet) and thai lime tea (less sweet as well). The food was SO TASTY. Seasoning was on point and the homemade sauces were FIRE. My fave was the peanut sauce. The thai lime tea was super unique imo. You don't really find that at many thai restos even the authentic ones downtown. I also loved the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level on the tea as well which is a welcome surprise. Normally, restos just give you a default level of sweetness.“
“I ordered the Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice and it was truly amazing. The food was fragrant, absolutely delicious, and with so many flavours. This restaurant’s food has more depth and care than any other Thai restaurant I’ve been to, including downtown Toronto favourites. Definitely my favourite new place for Thai food. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.“
“Amazon food. Amazing Service. Amazing price. Great options. Great taste. Great portion. The first time I had pho with an order of cold spring roll for appetizer. This time I had vermicelli accompanied with deep fried banana for desert. The food has been delicious, not too salty or sweet - just right. And they don’t cheap out on their meat, they give you a generous amount. Plus, bonus - the price is very reasonable for the portion they give you. All around amazing. As well, Denise, the server, is really friendly and personable. She’s great at her job and also easy to talk with. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for an amazing pho restaurant. I wish I live in the area, it would have definitely be my go-to restaurant. I would come all the way from Barrie just to enjoy this restaurant again!“
“Delightful spot with great atmosphere excellent service and delicious food. The decor is so vibrant, lively and fun it creates the perfect setting to enjoy the beautifully presented dishes that are authentic, fresh, flavorful and cooked with so much attention to detail. Highly recommend the Spring Rolls, Mango Salad, Siamese Beef, Tamarind Fish, Fried Chicken with Fried Rice and the Chicken Coconut Soup!!“
“Family's favourite Thai Restaurant at Richmond Hill since almost 10 years. Good quality food and prices are little expensive.April ‘24 - Again to our favourite place. Thai New Year coincides Tamil New Year. Lot of similarities between two cultures.Vegetarian options: Our favourite Pad Kee Mao“
“Portions are a little small. We ordered soup and a rice dish. The Pho (soup) was really good but would only feed one person though supposed to feed two. We also ordered the Rice with shaking beef (#46) had nice flavour but the portion size was small though served on a huge plate. It was a not really enough for one person. The beef was also tough. So not recommended. Stick to the Pho but the large is only enough for one.“
