“Best Hakka I've had in a long time! my family used to come here twice a week, and sometimes dine-in. Now with Covid, when we don't cook, we get take-out once a week till things get back to normal. We usually get the Chili chicken and shrimp (both dry) and the crispy ginger beef as our staple, surrounded by different dishes each time. everything is always delicious, and the staff/Ownership are so friendly! “Located nearby Vaughan Mills with a bunch of food options within this area, a pretty busy area. Came to visit on a weekend and was able to get a table. The place is quite spacious with lots of tables for both small and large groups.Pho: The pho broth was tasty. It's not the best pho I've had, but it wasn't bad. The meat portions were a bit lacking, I will admit. Duck Noodles: Good portions. It's not very common to see this dish in other restaurants, so it's worth a try. Bun bo hue: Wasn't too spicy but still flavourful. Lots of variety of bun bo hue toppings to choose from. I would probably give this place a 3.5/5 stars but decided to round up because the prices were reasonable and the service was quick.“

Accompanied with green curry, the subtle coconut flavour vowed me over. Definitely try their sweet and sour sauce sachet ,Adding a tangy ting to the entire entree.Food court choices are always super confusing for me.But having tried various Wok options and Thai themed outlets, Thai Island refreshingly stood out with a lot of options to choose from. My friend ordered the same platter with tofu, she resonated with the good reviews and loved the meal! Special mention to the staff for being elaborate about the vegetarian noodle option. “We found this joint on Google after a long walk in High Park looking at Cherry Blossoms :) I have to say the place was very clean, spacious, packed with people and inviting environment. The food was supeeeer fresh and delivered quickly to our table. It tasted excellent with a great variety of dishes. We would definitely recommend this place and would return again for delicious dim sum and sushi :)Parking: It's situated in the plaza with ample parking options!“
“1. Food - good! Came out hot. Green curry chicken, cashew chicken, beef pad see ew were all tasty. We asked for curry dish to be very spicy and I think that was a mistake as it took away from the flavor. One criticism was that the curry was too runny. Maybe we could have asked for it to be made thicker. We prefer that. But food was good. 2. Service - we reserved our table for dinner and the server sat us at the wrong table so she apologetically asked us to move. When we asked for water we had to ask more than once. It was busy at the time but with the spicy food it would have been nice to get it fast. We ordered three dishes. Two came very quickly. We finished them and the third hadn't arrived yet. We had to ask a server for its whereabouts and then he brought it. It was very hot so maybe it just took longer to prepare but I actually think they forgot about it. The service was a 3/5 but the food was good so it balances out. 3. Ambiance - nice interior. Wood panelling. Booths. Very cozy.“

“The best Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. The food is delicious and presented well. Our waiter was super friendly and checked in on us regularly. The place has a modern decor, and the lights in the middle can even become a show. Just make sure you come early or make reservations because it fills up quick.“

“My family and I have been coming here for around 15 years and it never disappoints! The Pad Thai is so good (and authentic), any other Thai place we have tried has been an utter disappointment. I highly recommend the Thai Fresh Cold Spring rolls, which are filled with aromatics and veggies and served with a delicious dipping sauce, the peanut sauce chicken, the green curry, and basically everything else on the menu.The staff are so great, especially Joy.Vegetarian options: Each dish has a vegetable or a tofu option rather than meat.“
