“Last night's dining experience at Willibalds was nothing short of incredible. The "Spirit Dinner" featuring a 5-course cocktail and food pairing was a unique journey through the restaurant's distilling history. Each course, inspired by their vodka, gin (x2), whiskey, and beer, was a masterpiece of creativity and flavor. The presentation was impeccable, adding to the overall experience. The service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the warmth of the environment. This was by far the best pairing event I have ever attended, excelling in every aspect from the cocktails and food to the service and ambiance. Willibald's truly delivered an outstanding dining experience. I hope these special entrees make it to their regular menu! “Great meal, had the Jerk Shrimp bowl, would recommend for unique flavour and lightness. Beer was great, service terrific. Busy spot on a Saturday so a bit loud as far as atmosphere goes but that is to be expected. Games room downstairs looks fun! Can we bring games upstairs?”

They have unusual hours for a truck stop restaurant; not what we’re used to… but this morning, they were open!We were seated quickly and the waitress came to take our order without delay.We had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes, a Western Sandwich, and the Big Breakfast.Everything was good and portions were generous.”

“It's so loud! But food and service are great. There were a bunch of people in their and some of them were really loud. On top of that the alarms you have for your cooking are also loud. I know you can't control the customers, but those darn alarms, do they have a volume?”

“Always a top notch meal!! Service by Danielle was exceptional. The food was plated beautifully and didn't disappoint on the flavours. Had the Seafood cakes which had the perfect flavours and were done to perfection. Had the Black Cod served over lentils. Delicious!! Cod was perfectly cooked as well. “Small operation located in a 4 store residential area. Nice selection of burgers or chicken (mild to spicy) along with fries and rings. Oh and they also have dessert. The food was tasty, fresh and right off the grill. They must be doing something right because this place bustles during meal time hours.”

Wow!! so good.no pressure to eat and leave, we were able to relax and enjoy.. I have been dining at Swiss chalet since the 60's and this is one of the best.
