We were excited to find a Chinese takeout/delivery place with a dedicated veg-friendly menu in Barrie (where we don't have too many options as vegans). Staff were very helpful over the phone, and it was no problem to leave out the egg in the Meatless Chicken Fried Rice to make it vegan. I have ordered from Asia Wok a couple of times and my family and I have been very happy with everything we've ordered. Staff are friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable and food is ready pretty quickly. Lots of vegan options....our favourites are the Sweet and Sour Meatless Pork and the Meatless General Tao.
I recently ordered the Cantonese Style Meatless Sweet and Sour Pork, and sadly it was just okay. The "pork" was very chewy and there was just a small amount of veggies. Additionally, rice wasn't included so I ordered that separately. The customer service was wonderful, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were able to let me know what was vegan.
