I recently ordered the Cantonese Style Meatless Sweet and Sour Pork, and sadly it was just okay. The "pork" was very chewy and there was just a small amount of veggies. Additionally, rice wasn't included so I ordered that separately.
The customer service was wonderful, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were able to let me know what was vegan.

We were excited to find a Chinese takeout/delivery place with a dedicated veg-friendly menu in Barrie (where we don't have too many options as vegans).
Staff were very helpful over the phone, and it was no problem to leave out the egg in the Meatless Chicken Fried Rice to make it vegan. We also ordered Meatless Sweet & Sour Pork and the Fried Tofu with Garden Vegetables.
They're not doing dine-in right now, but they offer free delivery within the city (their own drivers, I believe - doesn't look like they use any of the delivery platforms). We did takeout, and they have a fun set up where it's a walk-up takeout window so you don't need to enter the building.
We really liked the Meatless Sweet & Sour Pork and the Fried Tofu w/ Veggies. We weren't as big of fans of the Meatless Chicken they use in the fried rice (reminds us more of ham than chicken in both flavour and texture). We did like the base of the fried rice though so next time we'll see about ordering a mushroom or veggie rice instead. Portions for all were very generous - we had 2nd helpings for dinner and we have leftovers to do at least another meal for the 2 of us.
I read on Google that the owner is vegetarian so it's great that they've created a veg-friendly menu for their business and are making compassionate choices available. We're looking forward to trying more of their menu items!

After hearing good things about this take out after being disappointed with all the recent Chinese food we have ordered. We decided to try Asia Wok. It takes a long time to get through, we almost gave up. Let me tell you it was not worth the wait! There was eggshell in the foo yong... a major no no for me and big stomach turner. The Almond soo guy was the thinnest piece of chicken ive seen wrapped in the most batter ive ever seen. No almonds and the sauce was a thick glop...nasty. The special fried rice was ok. The Curry beef was Not. I could go on but i think you get the picture. I dont know what has happened to the Chinese Restaurants in Barrie but they are all sub standered and a waste of money! The picture below is of the chicken from the soo guy the thinnest whitest part you see is the chicken. The ends were so hard they were inedible. What a waste of $85

I can't afford take out very often and I haven't had Chinese Food in so long. I had heard good things about Asia Wok so I decided to order from there. What a huge disappointment that was. The Egg Rolls where burnt in places and the Bean Sprouts inside were dried out strings. Both the Wonton and Hot & Sour Soups used Knorr Chicken Soup Base/Stock. You could tell by the unnatural yellow colour. I have never seen either type of Soup with that colour before. Besides the colour, the Hot & Sour Soup was lacking the complex blend of flavours of a good Hot & Sour Soup. While there was heat, not the proper type, there was no sour component whatsoever! Both Soups really lacked salt and flavour. Surprisingly, the filling in the Wontons was quite nice. The Chicken Fried Rice was overly greasy, seriously lacking salt and flavour. I also found pieces of Chicken Skin and Fat in the Fried Rice. The bottom of the take out container was covered in a film of oil at least 1/8” thick. The batter for Shrimp was undercooked and very, very greasy. Instead of being a nice golden brown it was medium beige. The Lemon Chicken was also a huge disappointment. The Chicken pieces were overcooked and the ends were dry and hard. The portion size was lacking. The Lemon Sauce wasn't bad though. So very disappointing.

I have ordered from Asia Wok a couple of times and my family and I have been very happy with everything we've ordered. Staff are friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable and food is ready pretty quickly. Lots of vegan options....our favourites are the Sweet and Sour Meatless Pork and the Meatless General Tao.

Really tasty food, good value for your money, a dinner for two is enough food for three people.I've tried other Chinese food restauraunts nearby, but these guy's are the best.
I decided to try this little place for lunch one day and I am now hooked. The food is freshly cooked and tons of it. I usually order the lunch special of Chicken fried rice and Chicken Chop Suey with a spring roll. This is a ton of food and I can honestly say probably the best chinese food in Barrie at the moment. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but if you want the great food......this is the place. I only pay $6.00 something including a drink!!!!!

I visited Asia Wok for the first today and had a very pleasant experience. The service was lovely. It was cheap, quick, fresh and very plentiful. Also, if you're a fan of spice, this place will not disappoint you in the least bit! Hawt!

We ordered take out from the several places but mostly the same one for years. It was good. But quite honestly, this place is the best chinese food i've had in about 20 years. It is take out, I dont know if they have a restaurant for eat in. I wont order from anywhere else anymore. The food is very fresh, high quality, and not greesey. Healthy, tastey, and lots of it.

It snot fine dining but rather take out chinese. Most of their food is really good(i eat there on occasion), Prices are good too. Don't expect an amazing meal but rather a take out experience and its fine. Though i don't reccomend the ribs, but every chinese place has gross ribs in my opinion.
