Super friendly staff, great food, awesome atmosphere too. Wasn't sure about the live music as I'm not normally a fan, but that was great too! We'll be back soon!”

“A lovely SIT DOWN West Indian restaurant in Bowmanville.My fav dish was the appetizer which we DEVOURED before I remembered to take a pic. Fish Fritters? I also requested a spiked Sorrel and man that hit the spot!The stew fish was Great! A little sweeter than I anticipated and my regret was it wasn't a take home plate so I can pick it up with my hands and suck every last piece of fish off the bone.My date had the Curry pasta and he says it was delicious!9 outta 10I will definitely return to try the other dishes.”

“We used Stuttering Johns food truck for a catered lunch for our office during our national sales meeting and it was great! The food was delicious and everyone loved it. “I visited this brewery for the first time a couple Friday's ago. I will definitely be returning the next time I get to the Bowmanville area. I tried a couple flights of beer, with various styles. All were good quality AND there was a beer-cocktail menu I did not explore but looked good for those looking for something different or not 100% beer fans. Although I cannot give a rating for food because I did not order, the service was amazing. I was there right as it opened (and a handful of other customers) but everything was ready to go! I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. Outside seating was available as well. I would recommend visiting this brewery.Parking: Shared parking lot with a number of different businesses. Location of the brewery is around the side of the building. May need to park a bit farther away in the lot during peak hours.”

“Went to A Stones Throw with some friends before a gig. My first time there. We were a party of 6. Glad we made a reservation because the place was packed. And I can see why. Great atmosphere. Despite being busy our server was friendly and attentive and got us everything we needed when we needed it. Pints were great and very reasonably priced. Our food came in a timely fashion. Everything tasted great. Portions were awesome for the price. I'll definitely be back.”

“Great pizza, great prices, best wings. The wings are meaty and aren't carried by sauce or batter. Cooked perfectly so the skin is crispy and the meat is juicy. The owner is friendly, and the service is great as well!”

“We had a private party in the “party room” last night and everyone was outstanding. Thank you to the lovely ladies bartending. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The music was great and the game was on for our Leaf fans! I’d like to give a special shout out to Sasha who went above and beyond and provided exemplary customer service during the set up and throughout the night. “They make a great pizza. But better hope they get the order right otherwise you're in for one rude owner conversation. Customer Service is not their forte. Talked over me, didn't listen, wouldn't even try to understand what I was saying, had to keep repeating things cause he got my words wrong because of talking over me and very rudely and abrupt. Could be a language barrier but in these times customer service should be important. Would not recommend this place again.”

“Always great takeout, never had any issues with the food quality. Inside the restaurant is always very quiet and empty, suggest playing some music or making the inside a bit more upbeat. Will still come by for takeout!”

She apologized for the portion size and advised they always try to have a perfect ratio and was very apologetic.She offered me a credit for me to use when I was ready - one month later Jeanine is true to her word and I had a hot, steaming, and much bigger dark quarter chicken waiting for me this Friday night, served by her with a warm smile and genuine gratitude and apology. Thank you for having such amazing customer service.Can't believe my quarter leg is smaller than the bun and the workers proceeded to leave it that way. So disappointed”
