The vibe and aura of the place are simply unmatched, and the live band playing classical Bollywood music was absolutely phenomenal—it energized the crowd and made for an unforgettable evening. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the night even more memorable. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. “Average restaurant chain restaurant. Service is always decent! The atmosphere is nice and good for watching sports as there are TVs everywhere. The food is hit it miss for me. I find the flavors to be a bit bland but they do well at classic dishes like fish and chips. I'm a regular here because they have reliable gluten free/celiac-friendly options for my friend. She typically gets a burger and swaps for a gluten-free bun.”

The food was very good but it lacked heat. Definitely could use some type of hot sauce as an option to add without added cost. I wished the fries were crisper. Overall 4 star for food. The Mac and cheese could use a bit more flavor but it was definitely very cheesy. So Overall that was good too. I think it's a bit pricey but similar to other good burger spots. The only small suggestion I have is that the croutons were oily. They might be even better if they were baked or air-fried instead.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely order it again. 9/10!”

“We stopped by Geddi Route Food Truck while celebrating Father's Day and were absolutely blown away. We initially ordered the Chipotle Chaap Tacos and Chilli Gobhi Tacos just to give them a try, but they were so good that we went back and ordered more!

The flavors were incredible and the fusion of Indian-inspired ingredients with tacos was a surprising twist that worked perfectly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and packed with taste.

Out of all the food trucks there, this was hands down our favorite. If you see Geddi Route Food Truck, do yourself a favor and try the tacos; you won't be disappointed. Definitely a must-try!”

“I brought some International Visitors from South Korea to taste of African food and Naija Jollof didnt disappoint. The beef suya was excellent with the pepper on it. The jollof (orange) rice was tasty and the fried plantain was soft and succulent and melted in the mouth of the Koreans. That is how they described it. The fufu and vegetable soup and egushi soup was something they would love to know how to make it themselves (importing it to South Korean). FYI, the left over fufu, suya and jollof was packed and shipped to Korea the next day. That should sum up how they liked it all.”

“Excellent Chole Bhature, but a slight wait
Visited here for the first time with family and really enjoyed the nice ambiance. There was no wait time to get a table, and ordering was a breeze.
We ordered the Chole Bhature, and honestly, it’s the best we’ve had in Canada so far! Unlike most other places, it wasn’t oily or messy at all. The spice level was just right, and I highly recommend trying it.
The only downside was the service speed—we waited about 25 minutes for our food to be served, which was surprising since it wasn't rush hour on Canada Day. Aside from that, it was a great overall experience. We will definitely come again to try other menu items and see how the service time compares next time!”

“We visited Badshah Bar & Indian Cuisine yesterday and had a great overall experience.
We started with the Manchow Soup, which was good. The Chilli Mushroom was absolutely delicious and is definitely something I'd recommend. The Dragon Gobi was one of the highlights of the meal—it's not listed on the menu but it's their specialty, and it's a must-try. The Chilli Paneer was decent, and the Achari Soya Chaap was also good.

For the main course, the Mushroom Do Pyaza was excellent and my top recommendation. The Kadai Chaap was good as well, especially the rich and flavorful gravy.
We also tried the Matka, but it wasn't as enjoyable as the rest of the meal. For breads, we had Garlic Naan, Chilli Naan, Roti, and Lachha Paratha. The Garlic Naan, Chilli Naan, and Roti were all fresh and tasty, but the Lachha Paratha wasn't up to the same standard.

Overall, the food quality, taste, and service were very good. We'd definitely visit again and highly recommend trying the Chilli Mushroom, Dragon Gobi, and Mushroom Do Pyaza.”

“I come to this location a lot, to commute to Scarborough, and I’ve gotten to know the staff in the drive-through. There is one staff member that stands out above all Tim Hortons employees and his name is Preet!!!! Preets effort in getting to know people (even though a couple of minutes in the drive-through) is impeccable. Preet‘s customer service is amazing and as a mother whose daughter is starting to get into the workforce, I’d only hope she could learn from a great employee like Preet…. 🫶🏽”
