We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. I ordered a coffee-toffee mix with vanilla Oreo ice cream hands down the best I’ve ever had! I also tried the bubble tea with taro and coconut flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. I’d definitely recommend this spot. The owner even stopped by while I was there such a humble and kind lady and the server was polite and respectful.”

“On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, I had lunch at the Mandarin Brampton West Restaurant (Fletchers Creek), with three of my senior friends. The restaurant was packed with celebrating, graduating students. We did not have a reservation, but they graciously accommodated us. Their chairs are low and have no arm rests. I use a walker as I have a back problem which results in mobility restrictions and once seated in the chair, was unable to stand up without considerable effort. When our table’s server noticed this, she tried to find a more suitable chair for me. The Managing Partner, Liana Zheng, got personally involved and fetched a chair with arms and a higher seat, for me to use! Later, when I used the clean, well-appointed, accessible washroom, a staff member discretely, stood outside to ensure that I was not in need of any assistance. The staff’s concentrated efforts to help a disabled old lady, was really appreciated! Even though they were so busy, they treated me with respect and like a valued customer not a burden. Bless them all! The reason we go to the Mandarin is because of the consistently delicious, good quality and variety of their buffet food. From now on, I will go there also because of how well I was treated. I highly recommend this restaurant to all seniors!”

“I recently had the Oreo and Funnel Cake Chocolate Fudge Milkshake, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich and perfectly blended – definitely one of the best milkshakes I’ve had. It was prepared by someone named Shubiika (I’m not sure of the exact spelling), but she did an incredible job. Not only was the milkshake delicious, but her service was also excellent. She was very polite and friendly while taking the order, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend both the drink and the service!”

“I brought some International Visitors from South Korea to taste of African food and Naija Jollof didnt disappoint. The beef suya was excellent with the pepper on it. The jollof (orange) rice was tasty and the fried plantain was soft and succulent and melted in the mouth of the Koreans. That is how they described it. The fufu and vegetable soup and egushi soup was something they would love to know how to make it themselves (importing it to South Korean). FYI, the left over fufu, suya and jollof was packed and shipped to Korea the next day. That should sum up how they liked it all.”

“5 star for food, but what we have seen there today around 6:30 pm, was not very nice a girl in green shirt took order and left. After 5-10 min she came back when we asked for the order pick up, without analyzing anything she start blaming her juniors for the delay. However, the guy and girl were already serving other customers. I would recommend to please teach your senior staff to behave respectfully with the juniors or new comers specially in front of customers. We really felt bad for those two, they were already working so they need not to be treated rudely. Thanks.”
