“Price for the food is really good. I usually go here for lunch and get the combo which amounts to $10 and they really bless you up with the food sometimes. Staff were helpful to my bf who is not used to Filipino food. Taste is okay, will scratch that craving enough.“
“It's your typical Filipino food place. Not a lot of seating inside, but the food... THE FOOD!!! I dare say taste better than some of our homecooking. The fried chicken here is delicious. Not too oily, honest to goodness home cooked fried chicken. I probably down five pieces atleast of the chicken no problem. Highly Recommended!“
“Really good Filipino food! I try to hit this place on my way to Kombat to grab some Filipino home cooking as often as I can. If you’re craving Filipino cooking or want to try something exotic, try this place. They’re hard to find but worth it when you do.“
“I love coming here for fresh Filipino desserts but the last couple of times I visited they were out of a lot of things. It's probably because we did end up going when it was close to closing & then tried going when it opened. I did enjoy the fresh, soft Spanish rolls. The middle filling has the perfect sweetness to it. I also liked the carioca. It was perfectly fried with the right amount of glaze, which is usually brown sugar. This bakery definitely hit the spot.“
“It's a quaint little restaurant. We had sisig and laing. The sisig was delicious. It follows a traditional recipe that does not have mayo in it. It's good and crispy and just a hint spicy. The laing is not their best IMHO. It needed more coconut milk to it and a bit more texture. The taro leaves have been reduced to a pulp and not so pleasant to eat.My daughter downed the leche flan in a blink. It was that good.We thought the halo halo was bland but we just didn't mix it properly and when we did, it was a trip back home. It was good.We are planning our next visit already.“
“The service at this place along with the flavor and the kindness is unparalleled! I felt like I was part of a family from the moment I arrived. I was in town from the US and by myself. Filipino food is not readily available where I live so I was excited to have some. I sat at the bar and talked with the owner, the head chef, and a few awesome employees. The portions are HUGE. So tasty. They make for great leftovers and can serve 2-3 people.I was here on a Wednesday night. While parking is free, there wasn’t very many spaces available at 8pm. The tattoo shop hoards a lot of the spaces (not the restaurant’s fault; just sharing so you are aware).I will be coming back and bringing my friends next time we are in Toronto. I asked about Vegan options because my friend is Vegan. The owner said they can make something custom and delicious with vegetables and/or tofu aligned with vegan standards.Vegetarian options: They had tofu and/or vegetable dish options.Parking: The tattoo shop in the shopping center takes up a lot of space.“
“Choosing Intramuros as our venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we stepped into the chill and cool ambiance of the restobar, we knew it was the perfect setting for our special day.The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The food was great, and our guests loved it. The intimate atmosphere created unforgettable memories for us and our loved ones. If you're looking for a wedding venue or any occasions to celebrate, look no further than Intramuros.“
“I prefer to eat here over the likes of seafood city. The food isn't oily or salty, and it's properly rotated, meaning they rarely serve out leftovers from prior days. The service is genuine, and the place is rarely packed with more than +5 customers at one time (from what I experienced). There's seating inside for you to eat a combo (ulam, kanin, sopas, with a beverage). You feel like a local after some visits.Parking: At most, 5 spots on a lesser busy day.“
“If I could eat one meal everyday for the rest of my life, it would be the BBQ chicken with rice from Grill City! Never have I tasted BBQ chicken this good! Full of flavour, so juicy and tender it’s impossible to resist! My mouth is watering right now as I’m typing this and now I want to go back for more.Super affordable, tons of food options here but this is by far my new favourite!10 stars if I could!“
“Of course d best delicious super sarap my fav grilled chicken , barbecue, sinigang babiy ,sisig, crispy pata, pancit. Most of the doctors at St. Michael's hospital and some nurses enjoyed the taste of kusina. So common down try it for yourselves coz to see is to taste.“
“Good Filipino food (for store-bought). We love their Lumpia Shanghai (fried spring rolls w pork), Pansit noodles, dinuguan (pork in blood stew like a blood pudding), caldereta (beef stew), Halo-Halo (shaved ice dessert soooo goood!), Braso de Mercedes whipped meringue cake, empanadas, etc. You line up, point at the stuff you want in your combo or takeout. You can order catering which I love, eat in or takeout. Simple, clean atmosphere.“
“We did take out but we will def dine in next time. The beef silog was delish! The eggs were cooked perfectly how we like it. The spring rolls were awesome and totally filled my craving! The halohalo taro ice cream was also deeelish! You know it's good Phillipino food when it's filled with Phillipino people. I want to order a tray of their spring rolls for my next party!“
“My husband was actually the one who found this restaurant through Skip the dishes about 2 years ago and ever since then, we've been ordering or a regular basis. The food is amazing and delicious while the owner is very friendly and answers your questions professionally. We recently had our son's baptism catered by Fan D Flame and every guest had nothing but positive feedback for the dishes served. Love it“
