The curry goat was very tasteful but the portion of meat was a joke 17.00 for a medium with a whole pile of rice what joke will not be back there are many other downtown restaurants that provide great food that is not outrageously priced

I'm really sad, I used to go all the time when I lived downtown. There was no festivals which is part of the meal, or at least it used to be? The sizes went down big time. I was enjoying my food either way, until I realized there was next to literally no meat on my j*** chicken. I'm really sad to pay $16 for just rice and noodles :(

Delicious J*** chicken ! Lots of flavour and fresh . Just wish there wasn’t slivers of bone on my rice . Otherwise I enjoyed very much ,

Poor management of food quantity and staff. I got j*** chicken and chickens were small pieces like one bite size. It’s not worth paying such price to get small portions of meat. And recently they always ran out of other choices, you don’t really get to choose what side dish you want. The staff was unfriendly and forgot to give us side dishes. She showed impenitent and annoyed when we went back to ask for missing side dishes.

Super expensive even for a medium. Paid $14 for a medium j*** chicken. Flavour was okay. Nothing crazy. Got 2 pieces of back a leg so quite a bit of bone. Girl working there was hard to hear but still friendly enough. Likely won’t go back due to super high prices

The oxtail is delicious! So tender and fatty, and for a good price too! I've been here numerous times for lunch and the chicken is super tender as well.

Probably the most underwhelming roti I've had. Not worth the nearly $15 I paid for. It was simultaneously both dry and too soggy too eat. The roti was dry and crumbling, but filled with so much liquid I had to stop at another restaurant to get a fork and knife to eat it.The what little filling the roti contained was very salty, but somehow extremely bland. I really wanted to like it. I've been looking for a good Caribbean place since moving from Oakville (Kori's Roti is incredible)Overall unenjoyable

I go here often mainly to support this black owned business. I usually only order one thing as sometimes their menu items are inconsistent in terms of availability, serving size and prices. I went to the store on Tuesday and wondered when they offered red pea soup. They said Tuesday is Chicken and Wednesday they would offer red pea soup. I went Wednesday and its was still chicken , no big deal. I was persistent and checked on Thursday where they said they did have red pea soup. I ordered it in the morning around 10 it was a little over $8 for what other Caribbean restaurants would consider a medium soup. I was extremely disappointed when I got home. The red pea soup resembled very much to chicken soup and the taste wasn't the best there was barley and peas and was very runny. I tried to refrain from making a bad review about this place just because I do want to see this business flourish however this isn't the first time I have been disappoint by something I have bought from this restaurant, so unfortunately will no longer be giving them my business. On the upside their curry goat is pretty good. I hope others will have better experiences.

Love the food. Best j*** chicken with rice and peas in town. Friendly service too.

Just picked up take out for our first time. The food was delicious and rich with flavor. Finding flavorful food in Brantford has been an issue for me as I've been spoiled for options while living in Toronto. Would definitely recommend and look forward to eating here again.

First time here, I purchased the curry goat & it was extremely disappointing to find bones, bones, bones & more bones.Goat was 98% bones, I just spent my hard earned money on curry goat flavoured gravy and rice, you do not serve people nothing but bones or they will take their business somewhere else.Looks like I'll have to try somewhere else next time I want Caribbean food.Shame on you jamrock j*** chicken !!
