“You could add a few more yeses to this page. This winery has the best wine and so much to choose from not only do they have the wine, but they have classes that you can take to enjoy yourself even more the best winery around so many varieties, nobody could leave without finding at least one kind that they like to take home and enjoy even for your friends, which I’m sure they would love this wine and all the other products that they carry. They also have dinners but once a month which are fantastic, great food really nice music and a lot of nice people to talk to so keep your eyes and ears open for a Friday evening that has a dinner scheduled. You won’t regret it if you go. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable and always willing to help with anything that you need when you walk in the door you feel like you’re coming back home very nice atmosphere”

“Planned a lunch with my friends of 50 years to go to Pizza Alloro for the first time. The pizza deluxe was amazing. The food was hot and the pizza was loaded with toppings. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. We will be going back for sure. Worth the drive from Peterborough”

“Ordered General Tao, Shanghai Noodles made with Chicken and the Hot and Sour Soup. All three were amazaningly delicious! Hot and Sour soup was spicey right to my liking. Shanghai Noodles were juicy and soft and filled with chicken! General Tao lacked any Broccoli but still was delicious. Would recommend 100%.”

“Their menu has a great variety. The pricing seems a bit higher than average, until you receive your order and realize the portions are massive. I tried the Dill Pickle Burger and it was epic!!! So I hired Brittany to make cookies for my kid’s birthday party. Best choice ever! The cookies were beautiful and delicious. Everyone — kids and grown ups — devoured them. Would absolutely recommend Busy B, it was a great experience.”

“We have been enjoying the gourmet food of Old Bridge Inn for years. The building and setting is spectacular. We have enjoyed meals inside and on the patio. We are local but friends of ours liked staying there on visits. More recently we have been bringing home meals from Inn Cuisine in Lakefield. We just had a large group reception outside using tents on the grounds. The food served was perfect in quality and presentation. A good time was had by all despite a little rain. Highly recommended.”

“A friend had gone here before so we thought we’d check it out!

The service was fast and friendly and we were seated immediately! The restaurant is cute and the canoe above the bar was perfect! The state of the restaurant could use a bit of a pick me up - the chairs we sat in had stains on them, and there were a lot of areas where paint was coming off walls because of chairs banging into them, etc. However, these things you can notice in daylight did not deter from the pub-vibe of the place!

We arrived just in time for happy hour (unplanned!) We started with the tragically dip appetizer. The pitas to dip was good! We aren’t professionals but we weren’t sure if the Guac and queso were homemade but the salsa sure seemed like it. I of course went for the 1/2 price chicken wings and my husband had fish and chips!

The fish was so crispy and fries were comparable to a chip truck! My chicken wings (buffalo mixed with ranch) were crispy and hot (temperature!) and delicious.

We enjoyed our lunch here and may be back!”

“Ordered an 8 inch, 3 layered, red velvet, coconut cake for my birthday and they delivered flawlessly. Walking in, the place was very nice with a wonderful aroma in the air and very alluring sweets available for purchase that all looked incredible. They handed me my cake and were very kind, and when it was time to eat it, it was absolutely everything I wanted in every bite. I, and my family approve!!”

“I really love the service here. I’ve been coming here for probably over two years quite frequently, sometimes daily, but most times 3 to 4 times a week. When the team members see me, it’s likely that they recognize me because they see me so much!

But I don’t know if my taste buds are playing tricks on me, but it seems like the coffee here uses a different brand of coffee than other Tim Hortons. It seems lighter and taste and not as strong as other coffees when I order the exact same drink and other stores

Other than that, the team does a fantastic job. They are cheerful, couple smiley, and great conversationalist.”

“I enjoy Pizza Hut pizza; have for many years. I would say they have reduced the fat (grease) content a bit, but the flavor has also dropped off a bit. My pick-up order was prepared promptly and accurately. The Lakefield Pizza Hut does have tables if you care to eat your 'take-out' there, but is not really a restaurant with table service. So the rating of 'atmosphere' is really not applicable.”

“Been going there for over 25 years and have yet to have one bad meal, or bad service. Some of the best food I have ever had. When I was out of the area in Toronto they were my gold standard of Chinese food, and I never found a restaurant that matched thier quality in Chinese food.”

“Best Mighty McMuffin I ever had. Well constructed, English muffin toasted to perfection. Ample bacon - great sandwich and fast service. When arrived drive through was out of service for a brief 15 minute maintenance. Staff inside were quick polite and efficient.”
