“Had The Mexican Way cater a very special 70th Birthday for my Mom. The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavour. My family and friends couldn’t stop talking about it. The family who runs this Acton gem went above and beyond with amazing service and so much care. Julian personally helped me plan a menu to include a variety of options including vegan. If you haven’t checked out their cute, cozy restaurant yet… go! You’ll feel like family the moment you walk in.”

“The food was good, but nothing particularly special. I think expectations naturally become higher when you know the restaurant is owned by a renowned chef. The chicken malai reshmi kebab was just okay for me, as it was a little too creamy. However, I would definitely recommend the chicken seekh kebab—it was very soft, juicy, and practically melted in the mouth.

The mains were okay as well, but the flavours felt quite regular and similar to what you would find at many other Indian restaurants in the GTA. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I expected a little more given the chef behind the restaurant.”

“We ordered the eggplant lasagna and a chocolate doughnut, and both were excellent. The eggplant lasagna was the standout. It had layers and layers of eggplant, not just a few pieces hiding between the pasta, and the portion felt like great value for only $13. It was rich, filling, and tasted homemade.
The chocolate doughnut was also very good. You could tell it was a proper fresh doughnut rather than something overly processed, and it was nice to find one that did not cost nearly $6.
The only downside is that they are cash only, but there is an ATM inside, so at least they have a backup plan for anyone who arrives carrying nothing but cards and confidence.
Overall, the food tasted fresh, the value was excellent, and the eggplant lasagna alone is worth coming back for. Highly recommend.”

“1 was there on vacation with daughter and grandkids, and visited the restaurant because the food looked delicious, and it was but my grand daughter got sick that evening continuous vomiting and stomach and had to rushed to Urgent care after spending $300 on the meal which wasn't a problem, the wrong order was brought out first I was very disappointed, Don't know if I would visit again( I really don't think the shrimp were cooked correctly.”

“Our 50th anniversary celebration was held in our backyard. Melos was the choice for the catering for 45 adults and 14 children. We were very happy our children chose them as the food was outstanding. We highly recommend Melos.”
