“The most beautiful experience I've had in years at a Restaurant chain....Always went to Scarborough and others Restaurant s in Durham but this one stood out for us..Chazz was our server friendly, attentive, very professional. Anna the manager came over to make sure we were well served and taken care of. Extremely wonderful experience. Food and drinks were tasty and great temperature great flavour!! “haven't been here in years and was pleasantly satisfied with their gluten free Korean short ribs and gluten free pad Thai. the room upstairs is nice for events. reasonable pricing. meal was $51.people said good things about the Yorkshire pudding and brisket also.not recommended: cauliflower bites. it's mostly dough“
“Came in late during the evening before close. One of our favourite spots, our server JD was new, but you could tell he’s been doing this type of job for awhile. He’s very courteous and friendly, and gives off a nice energy that makes you feel good about your night. Hope to have him again, our schnitzel was very good as usual but the vegetables did not seem fresh.“

“The Staff was amazing both times we went. Dinner on Friday March 22nd. I am allergic to pepper and egg. The server and chef went out of their way to ensure neither were in my food. “It is worth the walk from village. It is a hidden gem. Interiors are welcoming with beautiful decorations. Service staff was amazing and quick. We took traditional farmer's breakfast. bakery bread was evenly toasted and was good crunchy, Potato hash was one of kind. perfectly seasoned and cooked.Another thing we tried was KAISERSCHMARRN (Funnel pancakes). These were fluffy, right amount of sweet and adorable presentation of food. Must try place.“

Knowing this is very helpful when English is not your strong suit. My waiter was Cristofer and he is someone very charismatic with a lot of attention to detail, he made us feel welcome.“
“This place has such great atmosphere, but the parking situation was a little disappointing. However the food here was just amazing! Got then mushroom soup, grilled octopus, beef kebab, and the shrimp linguine. Our server Jade was amazing! Very informative and attentive and super kind! Will definitely come back!“
“Unreal - this place competes with the best in Canada and outshines many that get listed on top restaurant lists. We’ve eaten at a lot of Michelin starred places here and abroad and The Pine is up there with the best. Fantastic staff, pacing and portions alongside a menu that feels too long (17) but works just right.There’s a real passion here. I don’t mean this the wrong way, but why is this place here and not catering to folks in Toronto or Ottawa? They could easily compete and outshine so many others. They are opening another place in Creemore; Creemore has a population of like 2,000 people! I’m torn between wanting to shake them and say “move to Toronto!” vs. appreciating this as an out of the way treasure.Regardless, each dish is thoughtful, clever and most of all flavourful. Smashed Radish, Ding Ding Chiao Mian, the Oyster dish and many others were head and shoulders above similarly lauded restaurants.Just a fantastic experience through and through and one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Follow the staff of this place, they will do great things.Google needs a rating you can apply once every few years for truly exceptional places. This would be that for me.“
