Had a great Saturday night dinner at Poppy's to celebrate a special occasion. The service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was packed, we reserved a few days in advance.Food was delicious! It was a bit loud though due to the obnoxiously loud group sitting next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault.We had the moules frites, steak frites and creme brûlée for dessert. All great choices.
Loved the feel of a French Bistro situated in a beautiful Historical Building. So well put together, the exposed brick walls and tasteful weathered leather and sky blue banquettes were elegant yet understated. The food was exceptional and a wonderful experience. Received excellent service from our server, Steve. He was part of our reason for coming back a second time for brunch, this time with the family. We recommend starting with the escargot. My wife and I were visiting Collingwood for the long weekend. We came across Poppy's via google search, honestly.. great experience! Shawn helped make some great suggestions and the food was great! Definitely will come by again when we're in the area.
