“Hands down best fish and chips in town. Loved both the Cod and the haddock. Onion rings were superb. Please note they don’t take reservations and weekends get super busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait.I’ll be back again whenever I crave some fish and chips. Try their key lime pie, I bet you can’t put the spoon down“

“My first time trying Amy’s Fish and Chips was on Good Friday, and man were they busy- as expected. Family owned, fair prices, and great portions. The staff here were busy but still provided great customer service. My only feedback would be that the side salads could use larger dressing cups but overall, a great experience.“

“Best fish and chips I've had. Closest by far to proper irish fish and chips and even have curry sauce! The chips in Toronto tend to be a little different than back home but these were on point both texture and flavour wise. Will be back. Get some battered sausages and mushy peas and we will be back every week hahaha.“

“Enjoyed a delicious fish and chips dinner on Good Friday! Considering how busy it was, we got a table promptly and the food was hot and fresh. We had to wait a bit longer than usual, but it was not unreasonable given the holiday. Our server, Sharlene, was nothing but amazing!! So welcoming and courteous! Kudos to all the kitchen staff, the degree of orders in and out was tremendous! Great job everyone! I hope the owner compensated you generously for all your hard work!!! ???“

“The food was great. I got a medium rare steak, it was very tender and juicy, and their waffle fry poutine is so savoury and filling. We had Jasmine as our server and she was so sweet! Very accommodating and had such a kind vibe to her. The inside is very cozy and the prices are excellent as well :)“

“Best fish and chips in Vaughan and as authentic as you can get in London, UK. The portions are generous and well priced at $22.99 (via UberEats) for 12oz Haddock, small chips, coleslaw, lemon twist, and fresh tartar sauce. The Haddock batter was thin and crispy, and fish was moist and tender. The chips aren’t crispy or seasoned, but they’re not supposed to be as is the case in England. Although chips are usually more lightly cooked, I prefer browned chips for more colour and flavour. The fish has all the crisp you need and it pairs well with soft chips. The vinegar based coleslaw was thinly sliced and adds great freshness. I appreciate the fresh lemon included, and malted vinegar and ketchup packets on the side. The fresh tartar sauce was great. It’s not too tangy, and I prefer that so you can add as much or little lemon/vinegar to taste. My only small criticism is maybe add more seasoning (salt) to the fish and/or fish batter. The fish and chips were a bit oily, and although I’d prefer it less oily, I know that’s a challenge without losing the crisp texture - it didn’t bother me much. Maybe a slightly higher temp and shorter cook time? However, the oil was fresh and no bitter taste (that comes in old or unfiltered oil) - I greatly appreciate that. You have to level set expectations when it comes to oil - you’re getting fish and chips, and not a salad.Overall, it was delicious and I highly recommend to anyone looking for great fish and chips, and definitely best in Vaughan (after having tried many). I called the store to let them know on a job well done. I had to give due respect and appreciation. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was much too hungry. Bottom line, get the Haddock.Vegetarian options: They also serve Middle Eastern food like falafel.“

“We were a large party. I got the brie and avo Benny and my hollandaise sauce was cold. The classic Benny was great. The salad is nice. The home fries were the frozen variety but apparently they are supposed to ask you which potatoes you want. I would have much preferred the potatoes with onion, So my meal was not optimal. The classic breakfast was great.Another peron got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was wayyy overcooked and the portion was too small.“
