“Food is delicious, made fresh, great variety. A very good variety of food and beverages ( coffees etc etc). Ice Stand is now open also!”

“If the nutrition added up I could live on a burger, fry and shake dinner.
I don’t eat fast food burgers, only independent spots that serve up a solid burger unique to them.
So I cruise Superburger and Champ Burger in the area.
A friend recommended the Burger Station east of Cookstown, so I headed over from Alliston.
I have to say, they have it down pretty darn well.
I had the Union Station Burger combo, fries and a shake.
The burger was excellent, I love the side of mayonnaise with the fries, which were quite good, and a solid chocolate milkshake.
The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
Lots of seating and some cool train station art around the restaurant.

“Our favourite place for a quiet nite out for wings! We are not 'original' - we always get the same order: a triple play with half Chipotle Mango (dry) and half Great Canadian. These wings are HUGE!! Tender and always fresh!.”

“I had a brunch at barBURRITO yesterday and it was amazing. The burrito was very tasty! The flavors were on spot, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. The mix of beans, rice, and fresh toppings was just right. I loved the addition of salsa and guacamole, they really took it to the next level. The portions were generous as well and satisfying.

This place is a must-visit. I'll definitely come back and try their other meals!”

“Stopped in Cookstown for a visit to the antique store and visited Pizza Hut for lunch. What a delightful experience! The couple that recently took over the restaurant were very kind and helpful. Ordered a medium pizza to share with a friend and it was fast. And so fresh! The pizza was delicious, I always enjoy Pizza Hut but this store made an especially tasty pizza.Thank you so much for lunch - I’ll be back!

“This restaurant is a real gem in Beeton, this is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Generous portions, food is fresh, service is excellent, staff is very friendly and attentive, the place is clean and uncluttered. They have a lot of variety on the menu and specials, reasonably priced. I recommend Sushi Hero, it certainly is worth a visit.”

“Visited for the 1st time on Saturday! They had a live band which had me dancing! We ordered fish tacos and enmoladas for our main course which were absolutely delicious and came out really quick even with the 3 large parties they had. All the staff and our server were super friendly as well 😊 I tried 3 different cocktails which were all made perfectly and we stayed for dessert which we don’t normally have but the atmosphere was excellent and we were having a great time! Would highly recommend for a date night and will definitely be back soon!”

“We were delighted to find this restaurant on the way to lake Simcoe. We really enjoyed the food. All very tasty. I would say it’s more middle eastern than Mediterranean. We got the chicken shawarma on top of the mango salad and falafel. There were also some cardamom balls for takeaway that I’d highly recommend. We were served by a Sri Lanka staff that I regrettably didn’t get the name of but he was so hospitable, helpful and generous with his service. Thank you”
