“Incredible dining experience at Berkeley North! 7 of us were on a girl’s college reunion trip from the U.S. Our server was Matthew and he took incredible care of us and even brought us complimentary drinks to end the night! We shared several plates and all of the food was so fresh and delicious! Some favorites were the duck gnocchi and wontons. The cocktails were great and they had a good selection of mocktails too. We spent several hours talking and laughing the night away without ever feeling rushed. In fact, we felt invited to stay and enjoy to our hearts content. 10 out of 10 would recommend for a special occasion, date night, or girls night. “I am a wedding photographer. Recently, I was invited to shoot a wedding at the Aberdeen Apartment. I can’t say enough great things about the wonderful people who were taking care of all the guests’s needs. The young man and a lady (sorry- bad with names) were super nice and very attentive. Their patience with all of us mingling and moving around, while taking group photos was greatly appreciated - all, while they were trying to transform the hall from the ceremony set up to a dining area. As a working vendor we are often brushed off or ignored. An offer of a glass of water and a kind attitude made a huge impression on me. Also, many thanks to a friendly bartender who was so helpful and accommodating while taking photos by the bar! Those two glasses of champaign were a perfect finishing touch to my photos. It seems to be the only place in Hamilton that does not understand the basic concept of holding tables/reservations/taking a name down to ring them back.I was told that if I need a table either I wait 20 mins right there, or go away for 10 mins and come back and then go away again if there’s no table. But nobody could guarantee me that since I came first could come back in 20 for said table and probably do something productive in the meantime. “Burst through the door here on a Saturday night like someone owed me money. My old man and I were out tearing it up before he was going away for 2-3. We saddled up at the bar rail and let it fly. We pounded Black Russian after Black Russian until the heavy set woman beside us became unrecistable. Autopilot took over around 1am and I woke up on the floor of a Motel 6. 10/10 would recommend this bar if your father is going to jail.“

It has a couple of corner benches (one on each side) that come in handy for those that want to sit.Lighting in this venue can be lacking, so it's great if bands can bring some.Mosh pit area is kinda small, but still works as long as the pit people respect the musicians' space, and stays friendly to the rest of the crowd. Flailing elbows and feet are not welcome, as it can make things dangerous. A young girl got injured due to this, on Saturday this weekend. I am thankful a musician told the flailing fellows, that it was not welcome, and they left.
