“We have passed the sign for Dhillon's Karahi many times without eating there. That is our loss. We decided on a whim to check it out this evening and were delighted with our meal. The samosas were delicious: having the sauces on top, rather than on the side, gave them a special flavour. The mixed vegetables and Lamb Korma were perfectly done. And the Naan and rice were the perfect compliments. We enjoyed and will be back. Thank you.”
“Top marks! Great food, service and atmosphere. Love the upstairs dining with the open roof. Parking is minimal so you will probably need to find street parking or mall parking across the street. Looking forward to my next visit!”
“A really great place to go for a filling meal. Service is top notch, the place is clean, plated portion size is crazy and the food tastes good. Only thing is that it's a little hideaway place, so you really have to know the area”
“exceptional tastes! they have unique offerings compared to other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood.”
“We recently visited The Olde Yorke and had a solid, classic fish and chips experience. The space has a cozy, traditional pub feel with a straightforward, no-frills atmosphere and very generous portions.
The fish and chips are clearly the highlight. The batter was golden and crisp, and the portion size is substantial. We chose the halibut, which is naturally more dense, so if you prefer a lighter, flakier texture, the cod would likely be the better option.
We also tried the clam chowder, which leaned slightly too fishy for our preference. The coleslaw was decent, but fairly simple and could have used a bit more flavour to stand out.
While not everything fully impressed, the overall meal still delivers on a traditional, comforting fish and chips experience.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming throughout.
Overall, it’s a reliable spot for classic fish and chips, especially if you’re looking for generous portions and a traditional approach.”

“The food is always amazing, service is always impeccable and they always have top notch entertainment. If you want to try great Macedonian food and Balkan food in general and you live in Toronto, this is the place to visit.”
“Love this place, best sushi I’ve had in the city so far. Always good quality.
I recommend the Salmon aburi, sweet potato maki roll, and crispy beef gyoza. I tried the Basil ebi oshi and it was good but I think the salmon aburi is better.”

“Highly recommended! It was so good we forgot to take pictures and just started eating. The chowmein tastes exactly like authentic chowmein from Nepal—never found this taste anywhere else. I don't normally leave reviews, but this was fabulous. Hats off, keep it up!”
“absolutely love this place 😍 every single thing I order I love more than the last ,from the in house sauce to the perfect chicken sandwiches you can not go wrong with this wonderful restaurant it's not just the food either , the staff is amazing, friendly and accurately fills orders quickly I look forward to take out night because this is our go to”

“A small, but lovely spot on the Danforth. Stellar service, the new owners are so lovely! The food was wonderful, super fresh and delicious. Reasonable prices and good vegetarian options. Highly recommend! :)”

“Cảm ơn nhiều ☺️.
Based on my late night pho dac biet take-out I just finished enjoying, this restaurant is legit and classic. It reminds me of my childhood 🥹. When I walked in, there were 3 generations present - and this was beautiful to see.
I'm Vietnamese-Canadian, my parents are from Saigon, Vietnam. So, I've probably had more than 500 bowls of homemade pho in my lifetime so far 🤣. I don't normally review restaurants until I dine-in because usually take-out/pick up isn't nearly as good - but this was wonderful:
The pho dac biet was good: The broth has that perfect very slight sweetness and was nice and clear & clean, the bò viên (beef meat balls) are handmade (which most places in Toronto don't do), and you get all the proper herbs and fixens you're supposed to get (which not a lot of Toronto spots do with this level of detail). These details alone make whatever I payed for the bowl more than worth it.
I recommend supporting and enjoying this small, local, hard-working family-run restaurant.”
“We just ordered My Big Fat Greek meal and an 18” Golden Pizza for pick up. The kids and adults were so happy with the food. Fresh ingredients, quality meats, delicious salad, and lots of everything, including sauces. And as it always is when we go for pizza at Grampas - he orders from here religiously- the pizza was phenomenal, with kids vying for the yummy dough ball in the middle. AND the price was so reasonable. The food was ready exactly when they said it would be (only 20min from the time we ordered), and the guys were warm and friendly and clearly just good, hard working people. We will be ordering again soon and repeatedly. I highly recommend Golden Pizza Geo :)”
“I stumbled upon this and decided to go in. First, they have parking right at the restaurant, which is a nice perk. Second, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was tastefully done. Typically pho restaurants are minimalist at best. Third, the staff member greeted me politely and was very attentive while I was there.
When I received my food it was presented beautifully. Again, I was not expecting this kind of presentation at a pho restaurant. The most important part, is the food tasted great and the portion size was quite large. I would definitely go back.”
“Absolutely love the food from EDEN, on Coxwell Avenue. It is our local and we get take out at least 1 - 2 times a week. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—every dish had that perfect balance of taste and texture you hope for. The portions are generous, and there is something to please everyone in our family ...we love all of their soups and noodle dishes, our faves. The restaurant is clean, however not a fancy dining environment, just basic tables and chairs. I think most of their business is take out, so they haven't done much with the dining room. The staff are warm, attentive, and always recognize "regulars' in a welcoming way. Service is always quick, and everything arrives hot and beautifully presented. Happy to recommend this lovely little place. It’s the kind of place you can count on for a relaxed meal, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Definitely a go-to for delicious, comforting Chinese food—I’ll be back for sure!”
“Went here for dinner after walking through the Don River trails. We were seated immediately outside on the patio. The service was great and the food came super fast! Everything we got was delicious - bread basket, falafel, salad, chicken souvlaki, potatoes, rice, etc. and all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back.”
“What a gem! Bravo to the people who work there! I have ate a whole pizza to myself now 2 days in a row 🙃 I had the cowspiracy, the tour de france, and I shared the Dino bones pizza lol I love different things. I also love quality good deals. This was it! One of the best things I have ever had and I almost feel you all have up my flavor pallette 👌💯🙌”
“I went for a quick meal in mid-afternoon. I had the lamb and chicken combo which came with a side of green salad and rice. I chose not to have the rice. To my surprise I was I was charged less than what the price stated on the menu. The chicken and the lamb were both tender and spiced just right. I was very impressed by the quality of the food - fresh, clean and very tasty. For a quick and inexpensive meal, I highly recommend Afghan Cuisine on Overlea Blvd.”

“Everytime I come to this location theirs always a issue ..today I was there they had no cash to give me for change. I had to leave the food (they already made the food) collect back my cash and go somewhere else to buy food . Im fed up of this and im not going back to this location”
“We have gone here a few times at night. Around 10 pm. There’s always this very nice and pleasant young woman who seems to be working so hard. She deals with the drive thru customers and the horrible and rude uber drivers. Doesn’t show the stress and stays happy. She definitely deserves a raise, not many people would be able to handle that with a smile.”
“Came on a Thursday afternoon and although it was empty it was very good! As a Japanese it felt authentic and I loved the music choice, never change the music please!
I appreciated that the salmon roll wasn’t filled with tempura bits like other places, which I don’t really like about western sushi! Will be back”
“Great quality. Easy online purchase and timely delivery. Highly appreciated!”

“I had my first visit yesterday at Donlands Diner in East York for brunch and it was honestly such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon with fries, and my partner ordered a BLT with fries. Everything came out fast, fresh, and tasted incredible.
The waitress Tina was such an amazing hostess — so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She made us feel like family from the moment we walked in and talked to us like we had known each other for years. The whole experience felt so warm and genuine.
The diner has such a beautiful vibe with 50s and 60s themed music playing, which made the atmosphere even more special. Service was seamless from start to finish and we left super happy. Definitely one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had and I’ll absolutely be coming back!”
“One of my fav ice cream parlors in the city! Vast selection of flavors that rotate, plus milkshakes and floats (who doesn't like a root beer float?). I'm a sucker for Mint Chip, but their Graham Cracker Crunch and Almond Butter flavors are also killer, on a waffle cone of course. Love a good mom and pop shop #supportlocal”

“I know they open very early for the amazing breakfast menu, but my only disappointment is that the kitchen closes too soon at night. Maybe they should announce last call for food like they do for alcohol as 1030pm seems very early when people need to absorb the drinks while enjoying the amazing LIVE local talent on Saturday nights. 10/10 for Mark, Reno & the Chefs :)”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with friends. We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Woodbine Roll, and Sushi Pizza, all of which were beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 👍🏻
It was a delightful dining experience, and we left feeling both satisfied and relaxed.😉”
“Great food. Great service. Definitely will return to try other dishes. Spicy 😥”

“We went to this cafe after our pedia appointment because the smell of the food was so good that it attracted us so we went in and try their food. They serve good food here. I had the penne pasta in tomato sauce with beef and it came with side of salad which i also liked. I also ordered their buttered chicken to go and it didnt disappoint, it came with potato and rice. Chicken was big and the potato and sauce of butter chicken taste so good.”
“I highly recommend Zerrin for custom made cakes! She has made three cakes for me. One for my baby shower and cakes for my son’s 1st and 2nd birthdays, and each one was absolutely beautiful. The designs were delicate and exactly what I asked for, and the cakes tasted amazing every time.
If you’re in the East York area and looking for delicious, custom cakes, she’s the best choice!”
“Best coffee!! My mom and I visited Arto Cafe. It's beautifully designed. Classy and elegant. The hospitality is outstanding. After, we went to Arto Bakery where it is always such a pleasant experience!! And the best part .....it's so close to home!! Thank you Arto Cafe / Bakery 👏”
“Oh my goodness!! If I could give more stars I would. The Haddock was absolutely delicious! It was so fresh and piping hot. The fish was cooked perfectly. The French fries were also piping hot. The gravy was good. It would have been nice to serve such delicious fish with homemade Tatar Sauce but it was not. Just packets. I think my head would have blown off had it been homemade. That’s how delicious it was. Regardless of packaged Tatar Sauce, it was still over the top- good to eat.”

“I have been eating here for a while now. I don't know why I have never left a review but better late than never!
The food here is great, and the way they treat you is even better! I recommend eating food from here.
It is a sports bar though, so maybe don't come here for a date - but if you want to catch the game, go for it!”
“Lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and just found this little gem hidden away, I never knew it was there after all these years. Mandarin at Yonge and Eglinton just closed down so finding this place couldn't have come at a better time. Although I wish I had known about it long before now.”
“We drive by this small shop a number of times. We order the Spaghetti meatballs and Parma Focaccia Sandwich. The Spaghetti is freshly made with chewy texture and the tomato sauce pairing well with the meatball. The pasta is very tasty. The Focaccia bread has a crunchy crust and all the ingredients are freshly and very delicious. We will definitely come back to try other dishes. The staff is very friendly!”
“The Service was great but I will never order the pancakes from them again, I was undercooked and dorothy on the inside. I told our waitress and they brought me a new one and It's same thing, either they don't communicate with the kitchen or the people who cook the pancakes just don't care. Eventhough the waitress has rectify the issue and asked me if I want to order something else but everyone already finished eating so end up didn't get to eat.”

“Service is very pleasant, Jim was a big help from helping me decide what to get to pay out. I commend the patience and hospitality of the service crew working here. Would visit again!”

“A truly wonderful experience. Idyllic setting and neighborhood, the kindest people creating comforting and fresh flavors of chocolate, gelato, vegan gelato, and ice cream. I would recommend to anyone with a heart and a sweet tooth. Tried the mango vegan gelato and pistachio, both delightful.”
“I love this place mainly because they sometimes have the largest fried chicken thighs! It’s also Halal, crispy and freshly made.
It’s a hidden gem and a small place with some tables and warm neighbourhood vibe. When I’m in the area I usually get the 2 mixed fried chicken $5.99 (price as of June 2026).
The owner is a nice, older man and service is usually fast when it’s not busy. Only negative is the leftover chicken reheated next day from fridge unfortunately tastes bland. Popeyes Chicken is still tasty when reheated the next day.”
“Hi, the manager at this Burger King is amazing! She cares. It's a very welcoming environment. We need people like this. Many places in Toronto are full of arrogance. It's embarrassing and shameful. Sorry.. But this staff is sincere and genuine.. We need friendliness and politeness. I'll always be a returning customer! Thank you!!!!! J”
“Stepping into Sophie's isn't just about watching a game or having a bite to eat, it's like coming home. The moment you're greeted by owners George and Sophie, you feel an instant warmth that's rare to find. They don't just run a business — they're the heart of the place, always taking the time to chat and make sure everyone feels like a regular. What truly sets Sophie's apart is their deep commitment to the community. Whether they're hosting a fundraiser or sponsoring a sports event, George and Sophie consistently show up and give back. They're also unwavering LGBTQ+ allies, creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone. It's clear they care about more than just their bottom line, they care about the people and the neighbourhood they serve. Sophie's is more than a sports bar, it's a true community hub, and we're lucky to have it.”
“I’ve been living in the area for over 2 years and never tried their fried chicken until yesterday. I ordered their “Everyday Special “- A large breast, a drumstick, fries and a fountain drink for the price of…wait for it…$6.19. You can get regular or spicy too. Took it home and the chicken was exactly the way I like it, crispy and cooked just right. How can you lose at that price.”
“I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was tasty and well-prepared, and you could tell a lot of care went into it. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, making it a great place to sit and relax. What stood out the most was the customer service the staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d definitely come back again”
“My son and I were looking for a cup of coffee, and were drawn to 367 Cafe by the promise of a patio. It's in the back and can be heated. Essentially this is a cozy cafe and sports bar. The very friendly proprietor told us it isn't worth his while to try to serve meals during the pandemic. The espresso was very good, however.”

“food arrived hot, i asked for a few accommodations like no vegetables and sauce on the side because im picky, and they fulfilled them easily. super cheap but still massive portions. the food was a little bland but thats 100% on me since i asked to remove the things that make them taste good like the veggies and the sauce. yummy!”
“We ordered the fresh French orange juice at Real Fruit Bubble Tea, and it was amazing! They squeezed the oranges right in front of us, which was great to see. They also asked if we wanted sugar or not before sealing the drink. My son loved the fresh orange juice.
The price was affordable, customer service was friendly, and the place was clean. They also have a small seating area to enjoy your drinks.
Highly recommend for fresh and tasty drinks!”

“i am in the area all summer as I go to Kiwanis pool daily. I stopped in one day to get a slice and they offered veggie or pepperoni. I chose veggie and the slice was gigantic and dripping with cheese and profuse toppings! The crust was crispy and excellent and I was amazed at how great it was! I am disabled and need to use a walker and the worker at the front held the door open for me and was extremely accommodating! I have been back several times since then. I am going to try the chicken and the ribs next time. The owner is Sri Lankan and very friendly as well as his children who work there. The prices are also very good, 6.00 for a slice with pop! The restaurant was very clean also.”
