“6 of us went for some Assamese specialties, which we enjoyed immensely, along with what we might think of as more usual Indian fare. The specialties we tried: salmon steaks prepared in an Assamese way, delicious; wonderful and very flavourful mustard greens and a delicious potato eggplant mix. The went chef was very helpful. This little gem of a restaurant is worth a visit and call ahead to order their specialties.”

“We came to have dinner at this location and not only did we have delicious and fresh sushi but also, we were given a little treat at the end. It was so surprising, the girl at the front stated they dont give anything away but could see that I needed a picker-upper, and let me tell you she was and is so right. We were there due to having such a heavy and rough day that we didn't want to bother cooking. So we decided on sushi. Thank you to the young lady at the front, you made our evening. The young man with her was also was very sweet and so kind.

I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.”

“We had to wait a while for our server to come take our drink order however it was not her fault. The hostess did not tell her we were seated and waiting. Tiffany our server was VERY friendly and had a great sense of humour. For the time of night we were there it was busy and she had quite a few tables to cover on her own. Kitchen took a while for our food but it did come out hot and tasty. Nice atmosphere and liked that there was a DJ that seemed to enjoy his job. Food tasted amazing just had to wait a while”

We were seated in a comfortable booth for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the services from the person at the reception, up to the host escorting us to our table and most especially our server Tilda who was very courteous and very professional. She came by our table as frequent as possible to check if we were ok and if we need anything else. The food we ordered were excellent. We loved he Asian wanton Nachos and the calamari and all our mains plus dessert. Thank you Tilda for your spectacular service and for bringing other workmates to gather together to sing happy birthday to my husband. Yeah, the service can be a bit slow sometimes, but I’d still rather come here than the other Tim Hortons nearby. Also shoutout to the guy with the turban on the midnight shift. He’s always really nice and kind to me.”

Not worth it even if you’re in a pinch or craving. Their service is horrible!!! Servers lie to your face and one of the servers made me super uncomfortable and disturbed in particular. I got the veal parm also with all the sides, and when we sat down with my family to eat, my 91 year old Italian mom who was a very good cook, just kept raving about the food. She says, this is just like homemade, just like I would make it and she was right! We kept repeating with every bite. It was delicious, highly recommended. Definitely a staple and going back.”

“My husband and I were in town for the Blue Jays game to see our friends. We couldn't get tickets for the Jays game, so they recommended that we visit the Bull on Bloor in Etobicoke. This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.”

“A large Club group of 40 had lunch at the Red Lobster on the Queensway! We had a separate party room for our group. The service was just great and the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. We received our meals in a timely fashion considering the size of the group. The menu is very extensive but varied which serves well to many different tastes and appetites. Everyone in the group really enjoyed their luncheon choices and most had to ask for takeaway cartons. We had couple or individual bills and they were handled efficiently by the staff. All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon!”

We were disappointed with the service provided by Shriti. When we asked for some foil to wrap our roti, she handed us a piece that did not appear clean, which was concerning. Additionally, she was quite rude in her interactions and was constantly yelling at a coworker in front of customers. This created an uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere during our visit. We hope management addresses these issues, as good customer service and professionalism are important to the overall dining experience.

There’s an honest effort to provide good service and maintain the space for a great experience for customers. I would say it is the best cafe in the long branch neighbourhood. And would be wonderful to see more seating space in the summer!”

“Came in to Curry and Chutney for lunch with the family after a visit to the public library nearby. The place is beautifully decorated, very chic decor. Good for a date night. The food is pure veg and isn't too bad. We had the malai kofta with Naan which was pretty good. The dahi chaat was okish, but the palak dosa and filter coffee were very good. The reduced star is for the chaat dish which missed the mark. The service for pretty good and fast. There is parking available around the complex, so pretty convenient location.”

“Kings Kurry was incredibly accommodating. They catered our family dinner for Easter. And we definitely thought it was be an inconvenience; seeing how it was such a last minute request. But they whipped it up in just a day and had three platters ready for us. The manager even helped haul the food out to our car in the rain and hail. They have such incredible customer service and honestly great food family loved it and they made the experience quite memorable. 100% visit again. Did I mention that 50% of those were vegan / vegetarian. Are many options for meat eaters vegetarian vegans and many more!

On a separate occasion we also died in comedy the atmosphere was great the music was amazing and the customer service and wait staff were incredibly kind to us.

“The server was also the chef and I think he was a little grumpy at being on his own whilst 2 other people were in the back, but he was polite and didn't rush us even though we took a while ordering. We got the 2 fingers with a side of pickles and it was plenty for 2 of us. SO had the chicken and said it was great, fries had maybe a touch too much pepper for my taste but that's a tiny niggle in an otherwise excellent meal. Fried pickles were great and the shakes were awesome - very thick and flavourful, I'm guessing 2-3 scoops of ice cream in each. We got plum sauce, and pickles came with the house sauce too. Almost forgot about the garlic bread - much softer than I'm used to, but I liked it.

“My friend and my family had a wonderful dining experience at Tobiko on Bloor Street. From the moment the food arrived, we could tell that the chef takes great pride in every dish.

The sashimi and nigiri were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every bite reflected the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s skill. It was truly a feast for all the senses.

We also ordered udon, which was excellent. Even the bowls, spoons, and chopsticks were carefully chosen and added to the overall experience. The attention to detail made us feel special.

Everyone at our table was smiling and enjoying every moment of the meal. Before we even left the restaurant, we were already making plans to come back.
