“On a recent fishing trip to Canada, we stopped for the night in Fort Erie, shortly after crossing the border. We wanted something easy, to take back to the room for dinner. Subway was going to be the choice, but there was a Pita Pit right next door, and my son said he and his wife ate that all the time in college and it was very good. I had never eaten there before. So we went to Pita Pit, and he was right. It is very good. I had a club pita, regular size, and it did the trick. I was surprised by how large the pita was, and with a lot of vegetables and sauce thrown in, it had a great taste. I would gladly visit a Pita Pit again the next time I come across one.“

“This is my first time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, The girl at the counter, I think her name was Tiffany could not have done a better job. She was sweet, friendly, and very prompt with the order. I ordered the reuben sandwich, It was one of the best that I ever had. It was juicy and hot, and the corn beef was melt your mouth tender.We will definitely be back.The only small thing is it gets really cold when somebody opens the door if you're eating in the restaurant. That won't be a problem in a few months.“
“It’s hard to find anywhere for lunch nowadays that your not spending $20 for a sub with two slices of meat on it. Then there’s tailgate, Quality subs with 4 times the meat and for half the price. Stop ordering subs from anywhere but here.“

“Fera's is a Downtown jewel for lunch during the work week. Like a time capsule from the past, the unassuming deli serves up fabulous sandwiches, soups and other lunch staples at unbeatable prices (i.e., a turkey sub with finely sliced - almost shredded - turkey breast and all the fixings for $6. Upgrade to a large roll for $1, same for a bag of chips). You're going to get this meal in less than 5 minutes from when you place it, and even if the line is 15 deep (common between 12:00-12:30), you're still looking at a 10 minute wait max. The small seating area is all that you need and is covered wall-to-wall with incredible Buffalo memorabilia (and not the stuff from Tully's, the kind of personalized stuff you want to walk around and stare at).All this means that you're going to get reliable, fast service, a great sandwich at a great price, and all within the typical contsraints of the office worker looking to grab a quick bite. There's a reason Fera's has been around as long as it has, and I am personally thrilled to get to walk here on my lunch break. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!“
