“We went to the Embrun location yesterday with friends and my gosh. These are delicious burgers! Beats The Works 100% I have to be honest, when we saw another burger joint go up in Embrun we over looked it. But our friends kept talking to us about it and we all went. BEST burgers in town!! “BEST BURGER AWARD! We have come here a few times now this summer and every time we are BLOWN AWAY by the burgers. The size, flavour and juiciness of them--so delicious! We love making burgers at home and I swear my husband moonlights as a Chef but we both can't stop commenting on how amazing Fry2Go makes their burgers.We love bringing our toddlers here too, they can run around on the grassy area and sit at the picnic benches to eat. Last night driving by a gentleman was leaving the store and I asked “ how’s the food” and he said excellent he eats there twice a week! So I decided to finally try chicken. BEST CHICKEN EVER!! I cannot say enough about the flavour of this chicken! Real, fresh chicken breast tenders ( not “nugget “ chicken! ) and fries where were delicious. Crazy good fries. The 2 male staff members I dealt with were so friendly and pleasant. The chicken is cooked to order, so you wait just under 10 minutes…..sooo worth the wait. Fresh cooked….hasn’t been sitting under hot light all day. Recommend everyone trying Fried Chicken Club ??? They have a new regular customer for my fried chicken cravings!“

“We visited from Toronto and had a great evening . I had just had dental surgery and our server was sooo kind to me bringing lemon hot water and honey . My sister and daughter enjoyed some drinks, a shot ( mine was fruit juice only /thank you to our lovely bartender ) , and some amazing food . Atmosphere was fun and the evening was very enjoyable . We managed to get happy hour pricing - lucky for us we were there at the right time . My fellow diners ( I couldn’t eat anything ) love the Natchos and blackened chicken.“

“Palermo's used to be my go to for pizza. I had stopped ordering for awhile (no fault of the restaurant I got bored of pizza) I had forgotten how amazing the pizza was so I kept ordering from other places and I had always been a little disappointed. We decided to order Palermo's again tonight for the first time in years and I'm sorry I ever stopped it is the best pizza in the area(if not the best pizza in Ottawa). The pizza is cooked well (I hate when a pizza is "doughy". The cheese has a beautiful color to it from the oven and a perfect amount of toppings. We got black olives on one of the pizzas and they were so good. I had been craving a pizza with black olives for months and every time I ordered from other pizza places the olives were disgusting, soggy or dehydrated little black specs on the pizza. They add the olives at the end of cooking (I'm assuming they didn't look over cooked) and they were very good quality. We order pizza about once a month and will be using Palermo's as our go to pizza place. Will be recommending to all our friends and family.“

“When it comes to the age old question of who makes the best burger, many burger-oriented restaurants and chains are quick to jump to the assertion that they make the best burger.In my experience and opinion in having tried a variety from the smallest to the largest burger establishments in the Ottawa area, I could not wait to try Burgers & Shakes Inc when I came across it.Beginning with the atmosphere. I am aware there is another location in Barrhaven but my review is concentrated to this location in Manotick. The location does not look like much on the surface or even inside the establishment. You could drive past this place without giving it a second thought had it not been for the large signs placed at the entrance of the main gate to the parking lot. The inside is of contemporary design but is rather small.However, where the place may lack in aesthetic makes up for in food. The first thing I smelt as I parked the car was the burgers being made inside this establishment. A crucial element and one that made me wanting to try here even more desirable.As I entered, it was not particularly busy so I got to order right away. The menu had a variety of options while being straight forward and not overbearing. Options are great but too many make it complex to manage and difficult for the consumer to know what to choose. There are 9 burgers total. Four of which are purely beef. Two are chicken, one is vegetarian, one is haddock and one is a mix of beef and chicken called "Mega Burger."I decided to order the 12oz "Big Double Burger" with all the toppings and a poutine as a side with a Coca Cola.As a note, the service was good. Hospitable staff made for a family friendly environment.A point of criticism, I was not pleased to know that after I had ordered, that cheese is not included as a topping that almost all other establishments I attended used as a topping at no extra charge.No matter, I'll let the burger speak for itself. When it was ready, I was eager to try. Presentation 3.9/5. Being that it is a large burger with all the toppings it does make things a little messy if you are not careful in the assembly process. The toppings were fresh and beyond my expectations. The side order of poutine was good. Good amount of cheese and gravy. The fries were crisp and cooked well. Although, the true winner in this whole meal is the quality and taste of the beef. It is by far one of the best burgers I could have ordered. Very pleased and left satisfied.So this brings us to the end and back to the question I began with. Who makes the best burger? In the context of Ottawa and the area I think it is fair to contend that Burgers & Shakes Inc make the best burger.Overall: 4.5/5 - I highly recommend.“

“One of the best locations in the city. Most of the time, I do dine in and takeout. The food is always hot and fresh. I have yet to receive a cold order. The staff are always super friendly and atmosphere is always inviting.Their All Canadian breakfast is my go to as one of our once in a while treat. I don't remember the last time I was impressed by Mcdonalds.Staff was really friendly, always communicated wait times and apologized if something wasn't right. The food itself was freshly cooked, and properly assembled?!!!!!Let me repeat that, the food was properly assembled, as in it wasn't made as if a toddler made it. The food was actually in order, it wasn't a giant mess like it usually is. They actually followed my order notes like asking for extra lettuce where every other mconalds I've been to have never listened.“
