The food is amazing, and the gluten-free options are all incredible & best of all, the owners are so beyond sweet! We love it there. No matter how long it's been between orders, they know our preferences and they are always welcoming with open arms! ONLY fish & chip place we go to!Dietary restrictions: They are very educated on dietary restrictions and they have a dedicated fryer for the fries and their Gluten-free items. I just wanted to try the "Captains," and it was pretty good. A quaint little place with interesting adornments on the walls! The owner was a funny guy and chats you up great. The fish was done very well, but the fries could have been cooked a little longer for my taste. The only bad thing I can say is that his place is beside a flooring company and it smells of glue or solvents. After a while, you go "nose blind" to it. You have to try this place!

At one time this was a great place to eat, friendly and pleasant. We arrived at about 6:20 and wanted table service since the retaurant is open till 7:00. We were told that after 6:30 they won’t seat any one. I mentioned that it was well before 6:30 but we were told “sorry”. We will definitely not go back.

The absolute best fish and chips in town. And the owner is so lovely and remembers all her customers, a real family restaurant. And they have gluten free fish and chips, which is not easy to find.
So happy to find gluten free fish and chips and gf battered shrimp, too! My parents had the regular fish and chips and the kids had burgers.... everything was fried perfectly, not greasy or heavy at all. It all tasted amazing and the service was literally extraordinary. Definitely recommend!

Holy smokes this place is good.Had the halibut with chips, and my wife had the same but gluten free. Perfect ratio of fish to batter, the chips were just right, and I don't even like coleslaw but I even ate that. The only fish and chips I had that even came close were in Seattle. I'm told the gluten free version was the same as my experience.Price was great as well. This is another North end gem, so glad we tried it!

Very friendly. Good fish. Great service.My only recommendation would be that the tartar sauce was a little thin/runny for my liking, and the french fry portion could be a bit bigger. Coleslaw was good.I will definitely go back again. I would definitely recommend it.
