This place is a labour of love. Everything is so well looked after. Last time I noticed that they changed their menu board and it is more eye friendly than before. They also removed a couple of dishes, but my favourite savoury one remained. You can tell that the owners are always present and involved from front of the house to kitchen to serving tables. I have always felt welcome and like I am treating myself to a really hearty nutritious meal. It is definitely worth paying a bit more than at Starbucks or Tim Hortons!

WOW!! ?Discovered my new fave Vegan GF foodie place in Guelph. Definitely will be back to eat at @grassrootsinc.ca!!! I had a super delicious cauli chipotle almond burger with sweet potato fries and vegan ranch dressing. And my daughter had a (Rowe Farm) turkey handheld sandwich. She LOVED it!!! Extremely good!!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great job Ryan and Hong!!

I have eaten here and gotten take out 10+ times. Not once have I been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Customer service is always beyond pleasant. I can't rave about this place enough. Very glad they've managed to survive this Covid BS. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

Food arrived missing something and without a critical substitution. Everyone makes a mistake once in a while so no issue here.This restaurant should give classes on customer service. Food was replaced IMMEDIATELY. Manager was apologetic and actually believed me! It was driven out by the staff instead of waiting for Uber again. Came hot, fresh, and it was sooooo good.Ordered the veggie burger. Fantastic. Would order again. I'm usually a meat guy. This is the type of food that makes it easy to switch to veggies.I don't think I have been this pleased with takeout... Ever.

We went with 4 people, and had the veggie burger, a coffee bullet plus (so good !), the chicken handheld with sweet potato fries and avocado toast. They were all good size portions, very tasty and the sweet potato fries were thin and crispy. Hope to return soon!

Ordered a brunch special: farmers breakfast bowl. What a delicious, and surprisingly filling meal! The ingredients are local and so fresh. The store is very clean and I love the atmosphere. The staff are impressively friendly and polite - one of the cooks yelled out to me that the "food's on the way, just getting a little love" while I was waiting.The prices are higher than what you might be used to, but the high quality, locally sourced ingredients (and environmentally conscious packaging) is completely worth it. If you're vegetarian/vegan, keep this place on your radar since there are many options for those diets.
