I’ve come here a couple of times to study and I’ve found the atmosphere very relaxing. It also helps to see other people working! The food and beverages are good and I especially appreciate the “stay and study”( I think that’s what it’s called!) option which gives you two drip coffees and toast for $7. The staff if generally friendly and helpful. The music is great, the book shelf adds to the ambiance and on sunny days, the entire place is beautifully lit up! The only thing I’d want to caution against is that the seating is limited and usually the place seems fairly packed (which also says a lot about how popular it is!).

This is a great spot for a quiet coffee and catch up with friends. Great food and coffee selection. Lots space up stairs to do some work as well.Not a criticism but one thing to note for parents with young kids. There is window/bar style seating on the main level and the rest of the seating is upstairs. I had brought my newborn in her stroller. The staff was more than accommodating and I was able to fold up my compact stroller and tuck it out of the way. Larger strollers will have a tougher time navigating this space.

Ark + Anchor is a really cute cafe. Don't let the exterior fool you because it is deceiving. I love the fact that it is two levels, it's cute and cozy.This is a perfect place to study, read or just relax. I would definitely visit again!

Always good vibes here. Been coming for years and the food, coffee, and people are amazing. Try the avocado and egg toast, the hummus plate, the egg salad sandwich, any of the scones. Such wonderful people run this place and it's always nice to see them and chat while ordering coffee and food.
