“I went to Verlan for the first time on Sunday and oh man, why did I wait so long? Right from the get-go, it was great. I called last minute for a reservation and was told they would hold a table for me as I’d be there in about 20 minutes.When my husband and I walked in we were greeted and seated and it was very welcoming. The owner is so nice and friendly and accommodating to a minor substitution on my husband’s crepe for a dietary need.These were the best crepes I’ve had outside of Paris. I’ve been to a few places in Toronto and Niagara Falls and this was the best. They were light and slightly crispy, filled with delicious ingredients (we both had the apple cheddar bacon crepe) and for me I had a perfectly poached egg on top. The grapefruit mimosas were also very good.The whole experience was fantastic and we will most definitely be back and will also be trying their sister restaurant Reunion in Morristown.Thank you for a wonderful brunch. “This was my first Jianbing ever, even though I visited China thrice.I really liked my tuna. The crisp layers add an awesome texture. Very efficient service made right in the front. But service could be slightly more friendly with a greeting or smile.Really surprised they are not in more locations in the GTA.“
