“This place is great. We took our 115lb Bernedoodle there this past Sunday. There were a couple of dogs inside already who came to greet Declan. Once Declan was comfortable, we took him off leash to explore. The other pet owners paid close attention to their pets to make sure they behaved. It was a great experience for our pup. When we first got in, the owner came and greeted us and gave us the rundown of the rules. The rules are no more than common sense for responsible pet owners - clean up after your dog, here are the supplies to help you clean up after your dog, keep an eye on your dog ... the normal stuff, nothing outrageous. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! They have special events each month, we missed the Easter photos by one day, but then again Declan wouldn't have fit in any of the costumes? They have specialty items for your dog too! We got the pumpkin bagel for Declan. It comes with cheese. Make sure to tell your server if your dog has any sensitivity. Declan loved his bagel. They also carry Yupp Muttballs! We'll be going back for sure. Declan slept well that night!Btw. Sorry, no pictures. I was pretty focused on D and also petting all the other dogs.“
“Took my 4 year old here for a P.A. day from school and he loved it. he has been asking to go back ever since. we played some great games, got some DND dice at a sweet price and a few miniatures to paint together at home. He enjoyed the milk and oreos and I the cold brews. Awesome place filled with awesome people, awesome games, awesome goodies, and sweet deals. Overall AWESOME! Thank you guys for doing what you do for the gaming community.“
“My fiancee and I just had your food for the first time. What the hell ...... IT WAS DELICIOUS! We rarely ever order Italian food bc it's just never the same as my nonna's or my father's cooking, but this was absolutely spot on. Fantastic flavors, quality ingredients, and just very authentic. We ordered the Pasta a la Norma (eggplant cooked to perfection, fresh basil, quality ricotta, and finally a sauce with the right amount of garlic i.e. a lot), and pepperoni pizza (that dough doe). What's the most ridiculous is that we've lived a 5 minute walk away for two years now and it never occured for us to get food here. That was stupid, and we will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“
“This coffee and breakfast place is an absolute gem! As soon as I stepped in, I was enveloped by the cozy and rustic warm ambience, setting the perfect tone for a delightful morning. I ordered a cappuccino and a cinnamon doughnut, and both were simply fantastic. Host was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home.“
“We discovered The Hearty Hooligan after our daughter was diagnosed with an dairy allergy. We now eat here once a week! The food is always consistent regardless of the day of the week or how busy they are. Our favourites are the pickle fries and pizza rolls, we’ve also enjoyed the Mac and Cheese Bake, Moe’s fries, Mac and Cheese burrito, Crunch wraps.. all delicious! We usually add on a dessert to our order which is almost always a punkaroo cookie! The cupcakes and cookies are always good too. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff is always friendly and welcomes you like they’ve known you for years.“
“Great spot for delicious coffee and a snack. The vibe is chill and the staff friendly. Also very much appreciate a welcoming and safe space for queer folks. There’s roomTo work or just come for a friend and chat! The sandwiches are so so good!“
“This is a great spot for a quiet coffee and catch up with friends. Great food and coffee selection. Lots space up stairs to do some work as well. Not a criticism but one thing to note for parents with young kids. There is window/bar style seating on the main level and the rest of the seating is upstairs. I had brought my newborn in her stroller. The staff was more than accommodating and I was able to fold up my compact stroller and tuck it out of the way. Larger strollers will have a tougher time navigating this space.“
“It’s nice to see these little places still thriving post-pandemic!I’ve only been a few times and always in the morning. This place is clean and bright and simple, and independently owned. Their English muffin breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and bacon is great paired with a drip coffee or a fancy flat white. Can’t beat the price either! Coffee and sandwich for about $10. I’d rather give them my money than gross TH or Starbucks!“
“Hello this was my first time being at 5:41 Barton but I certainly won't be my last the food is excellent and the volunteers that are amazing and what this place stands for is Godly it's amazing yeah if you're looking for a great place to eat and share 541 button bless you “
“We went with the kids to play some board games and we really enjoyed ourselves. There are so many games to choose from! We decided on games that we could all play since our youngest is 5. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the freshly popped popcorn. Me and mom enjoyed our adult beverages as well! It was a great night out as a family.“
“A small organic and ecological grocery offering fruits, vegetables and canned foods, baked goods, coffee, wine and even a small variety of non-alcoholic wine. Local products in a rustic and charming atmosphere and very friendly staff with a smile ? Ideal place for groceries, buy a gift or just to have a coffee. Located on the charming Ottawa street.“
“At first, the shop seems expensive but it actually has high cost performance if you want to learn about coffee and try a variety (4 coffees from a specialty roaster tasting set). We like coffee and make it at home everyday, but we are not close to the level of the staff here. Thanks @camdenhine for the presentation. It was fun and we learned a lot.“
“I have been to House of Java twice now. I had excellent service and wonderful coffee both times. Today, Laurie made me an amazing cappuccino and the chocolate chip cookie was decadent! I’ll be here more often and will tell all my St Joes friends to stop in.They also have a good selection of local goods to support small businesses in our community.“
“Great food, great staff.I really love how they have different blends of coffee it's a great 1 stop shop for breakfast foodVegetarian options: You got optionsDietary restrictions: There willing to accommodate to your orderParking: It's beside the restaurant just don't stay foreverKid-friendliness: There super friendly here, but you might have to deal with your local Hamilton friends off the street“
“Food was simple, but tasty. Great place to stop in for breakfast or a simple lunch. We had the brirnand bacon frittata, the burger, matcha latte and caramel latte.Parking can be a challenge, and seating might be difficult since it's small space. They don't do reservations. Coffee was so good, we got some to go!Also glad they were open on family day!“
“What a great place for good food super and casual. Everything is home made and should leave hungry. It's dated not a place for a date...unless you want great valueVegetarian options: Omelets. Sandwiches...I think they would work with anyone's dierty needsParking: Plenty of space“
“My partner and I did the Valentine’s Day set menu and I can’t express how impressed we were. It was so delicious and felt like fine dining but was so affordable. The atmosphere was so cute and intimate it was the perfect way to spend our Valentine’s. I have been for over a number of times over the years as well and love the baked good. I will say, I miss the coconut and tahini lattes soooo much. They were so good and really set the cafe apart from the rest downtown.“
“Great place. Highly recommend. First time at a shisha place and I had a great time. Friendly , welcoming , quiet , private. Fair prices , good seating , bathrooms clean. Overall atmosphere clean as well. Big variety of food and drink choices. They take reservations. Booths/tables spacious and comfortable. Allowed to smoke outside of building , cheese cake choices are amazing as well. Friendly staff. ???? Definitely be back soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Big space and big hallways/walk ways.“
“Support small local businesses, especially when they cook up some delicious meals! Fish & chips on Fridays & Bifana with egg any day of the week has been one of my go to spots while renovating my house walking distance from Esplanada :)“
“Popped into The Cannon after a run this weekend and was thoroughly impressed! The vibes were immaculate. The staff was extremely friendly - when I asked the staff if they will fill my reusable water bottle and they even offered ice.The service was fast and my cortado was spectacular. I will be seeking every excuse to come back!“
“Last week my friend and I took a walk to the Hamilton Airport and discovered this lovely new addition. We were greeted by the friendly owner who despite our lack of sufficient funds provided us with two steaming cups of fresh decaf coffee. We also tried a date square which was served hot and was delicious, lots of natural sugar in the dates and not overly sweet like some of the date squares I’ve had at other places. The coffee was tasty and brewed just for us,what a treat...I highly recommend that those who visit the airport drop in and have a taste...support local business!“
“It’s a nice cafe to stop by~The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly.I had hot chocolate, but it was a bit disappointing because it wasn't sweet and tasted bland. What’s unique about this place is that it has an art museum!“
“Delighted to have visited this place for lunch. Enjoyed apple cider and lobster salad on a bun. Sorry not exactly sure what it's called but definitely main ingredient was lobster and first time ordering this sandwich. That's what happens when you're hungry and the lunch was really good that you'd forget it's name. ? Place was very busy at lunch. Staff were highly attentive with each customers orders in a timely fashion. While dined in I saw their catering menu and seems like well worth a try especially that holidays is fast approaching. Definitely one of my go to places for lunch when within the area.“
“Truly the best coffee I've tasted in Hamilton. Ordered the Bombon and my partner had the cappuccino. The server Luis was attentive, exceptionally kind and warm and the pastries (flakey, berry goodness) were served fresh from the oven. Will be returning!“
“I ordered from Uber eat and food was great I usually do not write reviews but couldn’t help myself the designs on the to go stuff and coffee cup was so cool and awesome and so thought out. I haven’t seen anything like this before and love it.“
“this place is always a stop whenever im in hamilton, its not often i find a place that makes an iced matcha latte the way i like it but mulberry has always killed it every time-- not to mention their lemon loafs are to die for! ive started recommending this place to everyone who has not visited before ;)“
“Probably my favourite cafe in Hamilton - Paisley is the best! Coffee and food are awesome and the vibes are great!P.S. My boyfriend who is very critical and refined in his coffee taste is also obsessed with this place - especially the cold brew!“
“10/10! Ordered the açai bowl on uber eats. delivery was very quick, portion was perfect, and it was packaged safely. Smoothie base was the perfect consistency, fresh toppings and great flavour. This item travelled very well and i would definitely re order. Price was fair for the “
