“We stopped in for a quick take out. I'm just sorry we couldn't stay longer. We ordered fries and gravy and they were outstanding! Perfect fries. Perfect. Delicious gravy. Extremely kind staff and lovely decor. We will return next time we are in Hamilton. Highly recommend.“
“This was my first time at this place. It was pretty neat how they made a tavern out of these homes on the corner. It was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was good. Unfortunately, my gallstones were acting up on this evening, so I was not able to enjoy my stay to the fullest extent. I would definitely come back here to try some of the other food on the menu. The dessert was delicious but I was not able to finish it. Only thing I didn't like was the parking. I had to drive around the street to find a parking spot on a side street.“

“Dined here for the first time last night and it was absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Started with caprese salad and risotto balls which were perfect in every way. The fresh pesto with the caprese was a delicious and fresh twist. Risotto balls were stuffed and cooked beautifully and served on a bed of the best tomato sauce, I couldn’t bare to leave any on the plate. My partner had the beef tenderloin which made me envious but my pork schnitzel with mushroom demi, mashed potato’s and veggies couldn’t have been any better if they tried. A small and intimate atmosphere and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive in all the right ways. This is my new favourite spot, a true gem. Will be back many more times to try everything else on the menu!“

“Charming and authentic little mom and pop restaurant. We happen to hit it at a slower time and were promptly seated. Waitress was welcoming - we ordered platter for two ( excellent choice for the carnivores out there) meat was cooked to perfection and each meat was uniquely flavoured - great hidden gem !Dietary restrictions: We follow strict ‘carnivore ‘ - ( protein and fats only ) easily accommodated without sacrifice to portion, variety or flavour“
