Wandered in with three friends after being disappointed by another nearby restaurant, discovered it was happy hour and all got 10$ New York sours! We split a few different dishes and everything was delicious — the butternut squash sage pappardelle was especially life-changing (it was the daily pasta).“
“My family and I went to Moxies while vacationing in the area, after a long drive from Ottawa we were tired and just wanted to eat dinner. I ordered the beef tenderloin (amazing)husband had ribeye ( also amazing) staff was friendly with great customer service (multiple stops at table to see if everything was fine and if we needed anything) however I did have an issue with an item on my plate and within 10 mins of letting our server know one of the managers ( I’m sorry I forgot her name) was at our table to discuss the issue and assure she would rectify the problem, when she returned with the bill so over compensated us on our bill. Definitely recommend Moxies in Hamilton staff was friendly and quick to rectify the problem as well as multiple apologies for the issue. Sometime s**t happens but it doesn’t mean the food isn’t great. Will defiantly return when in the area“

“First visit to Beasley House early on a Saturday evening. Wasn't at all busy, server was pleasant, food was very good and reasonably priced. Not a huge selection of drinks (only one red wine!?) and apparently no daily menu specials.We were a little annoyed by the fact that there were renovations going on in the adjoining apartment and the workers felt it was okay to have their saw going while patrons were trying to eat and visit...not cool guys, you had all day to work now knock it off and let the paying customers enjoy their dinner.Overall though, nice dinner.“

“One of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Hidden hole in the wall with great food and friendly staff. Definitely worth the drive if you’re not from the area. The burgers are massive and if you still have room for sides, the portions for the onion rings and fries are very generous as well. 100% would recommend giving it a try!!“

“Stopped in Hamilton for an overnight stay at the Sheraton Hotel in the downtown area. After checking in I searched google and yelp for some dinner ideas. Not having a car I wanted something in walking distance. By chance I found the menu for the Sheratons restaurant and was impressed by the variety and descriptions of the dishes! So I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! I was the first diner so it was quiet and relaxing and I had a nice table. My server, Dean, was prompt, efficient, and knew the menu well. I chose the saffron risotto with grilled salmon, the risotto was properly cooked, creamy, slightly firm, with peas, topped with parmigiana and 3 large grilled asparagus. The salmon had crispy skin and was nicely seasoned. Overall the meal was excellent and a good sized portion! I paired it with a glass of Chardonnay from Ontario that was generous and delightful. Give the Chagall a try you'll be surprised and satisfied with a delicious meal, a variety of inventive dishes, very good service, and reasonable prices, and best of all you don't have to leave the hotel!“
