“This place is great. We took our 115lb Bernedoodle there this past Sunday. There were a couple of dogs inside already who came to greet Declan. Once Declan was comfortable, we took him off leash to explore.The other pet owners paid close attention to their pets to make sure they behaved. It was a great experience for our pup.When we first got in, the owner came and greeted us and gave us the rundown of the rules. The rules are no more than common sense for responsible pet owners - clean up after your dog, here are the supplies to help you clean up after your dog, keep an eye on your dog ... the normal stuff, nothing outrageous. The staff is very friendly and welcoming!They have special events each month, we missed the Easter photos by one day, but then again Declan wouldn't have fit in any of the costumes?They have specialty items for your dog too! We got the pumpkin bagel for Declan. It comes with cheese. Make sure to tell your server if your dog has any sensitivity. Declan loved his bagel. They also carry Yupp Muttballs!We'll be going back for sure. Declan slept well that night!Btw. Sorry, no pictures. I was pretty focused on D and also petting all the other dogs.“
“Not only are the treats absolutely delicious, Grace is an absolute delight to hang out with! She is so polite, funny, helpful and we love running into her at the store. Back to the treats though, their flavours are always on point and their cream puffs along with a Thai tea are my fav combo!“

“Come here all the time with my boyfriend and his friends. There is a huge variety of flavours for all palettes. So nice to have a variety of Canadian breweries. Best is when the back is open super chill in there. Winter they have heaters and it feels super cozy, in the summer super nice vibe and pet friendly is the best. “Grain & Grit is fantastic, with outstanding staff, great beer, and numerous fun events. They also serve wine and some of the best non-alcoholic beers available. The atmosphere is extremely friendly, and I have made friends there that I would not have met otherwise. The only downside is that I wish they had a bigger space to accommodate more people! I highly recommend you check them out.“
“Our school club reached out to have cupcakes provided for our fundraiser. Paul was so helpful, reliable, and responsive throughout the entire process which made the whole process so easy. The cupcakes looked beautiful, and were so delicious, we sold out really quick! Great customer service and one of my favourite places near Mcmaster!“
“This was my first time at this place. It was pretty neat how they made a tavern out of these homes on the corner. It was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was good. Unfortunately, my gallstones were acting up on this evening, so I was not able to enjoy my stay to the fullest extent. I would definitely come back here to try some of the other food on the menu. The dessert was delicious but I was not able to finish it. Only thing I didn't like was the parking. I had to drive around the street to find a parking spot on a side street.“
“It's a great local business. The interiors are quaint and cosy, and feels like a village general store. The produce is fresh with lots of local and sustainable options. The staff at the little cafe are very friendly and the baked goodies are a must try. Tons of other knick knacks, beer, alcohol and gift items.I love their bulk soap and detergent options too.“

“We love this place!! Staff is so kind, food is really tasty and the place is super clean.They also provide a couple toys. There is a limited number of dogs they allow inside, so you might get waitlisted if it's too busy. I think on weekends it's good to make a reservation. There is lots of cleaner and wipes for everyone to use.“
