Been living and coming to this restaurant for years (12) The best customer service and a place where the owner actually cares about you. (Love her and all the staff). You will never be disappointed about the food, drinks, and food the relax vibe.

I was very disappointed when my pasta dish arrived with clumps of pasta that seemed frozen together...I asked if all there meals were frozen and she said they were made fresh....right.

Great atmosphere lots of history with the story of where it all began is posted on the walls and the menus..its a great story and it's not a big place inside but you don't feel cramped...the food is great the portions are big...the service is good depending on the day or time you go but nonetheless it's worth it as their eggs Benedict is delicious....
Good burger, fries were undercooked and not very good, draft was cold, waitress was pleasant and attentive, my friend had the steak with a salad, said it was ok. Nice atmosphere I have been going there for a few years as I grew up in this end of the city and there was not a lot of choices, especially miss the Derby tavern.

Visited Rankins, between 4 of us there were 2 different burgers ordered, a roast beef sandwich and quesadillas with nachos. Food was great, and hot. Our service was fantastic! She was polite, would come to refill pop, check in, even explained that the nachos would come out a little later as she didn't like the way they looked. We will definitely be going back.
