I’ve been waiting for the east end to get a Jamaican food spot for a very long time now ….. it’s been long over due and after trying it I had to put my food down to write this review!!! Jamaican queens is the best most authentic Jamaican food in the city, it tastes like it’s home cook food, it’s fresh, hot, flavourful Mac pie is 20/10…. Outstanding new place that blends exquisite cuisine with a vibrant cocktail bar experience.Don't underestimate the authenticity and quality. You absolutely get what you pay for and I can't wait to come back.

This restaurant is a gem right on Kenilworth in Hamilton. My party enjoyed oxtail poutine and plantain nachos as shared starters and we capped off our meal with a perfectly flavoured dish of radlsta pasta with chicken. The restaurant has a lovely decor and an awesome reggae platlist that has me grooving between plates. Island Queen provides a royal dining experience.
