“I have been ordering from them very often for past few months using Ubereats and I always love their buy 1 get 1 offer. Every time they provides me with fresh cooked food. I am a bit foody and would mention them to be generous with the portion and guess what, these lovely people always makes sure I don't feel hungry after having one meal. The food tastes great and I can say they cook them fresh always. Even when I ordered food right before their closing time, they made sure they are serving me fresh food. A big Thanks to all those Heroes who are working hard to make these amazing food. You deserve the best when you do the best. Love Thai Express!!!“
“As a high-school student who’s spent 4+ years in the area, I can confidently say that Tings kitchen is the best lunch spot I’ve been to. I highly recommend eating here if your looking for a quick and cheap Asian dining experience, but with extremely high quality and bountiful food proportions.“
“This place is a gem! I've come a few times and have never been disappointed.Tried something new today, which they said is more Philippino inspired. It's called Pancit Lomi Guidaso. YUM! It's not on the main menu board, but was on a picture on the side of the truck. So glad I saw it! And it was less than $13 for a large piping hot portion!“
“We did a take-out this past week, spending over 140$. I found that their Pad-Si-ew was quite bland. Pad Kee Maow was also bland (for a dish that costs over $23) was a bit disappointing. I am not sure that I would say this was truly authentic Thai cuisine either. The veggie stir-fry was also so-so and costs over $22. These prices were for the dinner menu. I find them overpriced as per quality. I lived in Thailand for a few years and I have been to many restaurants in Toronto, Montreal. Unfortunately, I think Thai Flame is overrated (4.6 out of 5)??? You might still find a dish that you like, but too pricey for what it is.“
“Like the saying goes, the best restaurants are those off the beaten path, and Baan Thai is no exception found in a little strip mall in Centerpointe. Had lunch which began with a very flavourful soup. The two dishes shown in the photos are the green curry with chicken and the combo platter. The green curry is my go to dish for comparisons between Thai restaurants, and the Baan Thai curry is great and rich. Could have been spicier for a green curry, but next time I'll ask for more best. Everything in the combo platter was tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated in typical purple and gold Thai colours, but is on the small size with limited seating, and it was full for lunch. They may take reservations for larger groups. Parking is free in the lot.“
“Went for dinner. It was our first time, as a friend recommended it. We didn’t make reservations but we were well received. As I have problems with drafts, the server gave us a few options to choose from. The decor is bright, cheerful and authentic (as far as I can tell). The menu had plenty of options for every taste. Our server was gracious in speech and knew the menu well including common allergens (I have a serious cow byproduct sensitivity). The food was well prepared and very fresh! The presentation was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiting staff ever vigilant but not intrusive. Our water glasses and rice dish never went empty. When we were done dinner, we were offered a doggy bag. And our server topped up the rice. We continued to chat and never felt rushed. The entire experience was a delight for all the senses!!“
“Our go-to after endlessly searching for a consistently clean, fresh and delicious spot for takeout. Their open ended egg rolls > golden palace. No funky smells or stale ingredients that you get sometimes at T&T or other restaurants. Staff always friendly and food always packed well with tons of soy sauce, cookies and perks when you spend certain amounts.“
“We have been eating at Sabai Thai for years since we worked in the immediate area. The food is authentic, delicious and the portions are generous. This is right up there with other restaurants in terms of menu selection, but they blow everyone else away in terms of taste and value for money. Mel and her family work so hard and give so much back to the food community in Ottawa, can’t recommend this place enough!“
“Best Thai Express location in Ottawa. We went there last Sunday. Food are excellent and people are very nice there. We tried Pad Thai, Pad SeeEw, and Fried rice. All are delicious and the amount is huge. Definitely will come back to eat again.Vegetarian options: Excellent with Vegetarian option.“
“Great food! Fresh tasting and portion size is just right! My dining companion loved the shrimp roll (shrimp tail was sticking out)! I was there with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meals. Great lunch combos! Excellent service too! It is a smallish place (about 40 people) and the parking is a bit tight but a lovely meal located in the strip mall on the corner of hazeldean and castlefrank! We will be visiting again!Parking: A busy mall so you may not get a parking spot right in front“
