“We loved it. We both know restaurants, and this first time visit was exactly what we expected and truly enjoyed it. A lot of effort has gone into the offering. Menus read well, trendy while covering the classics. Price was totally fair for the experience. Especially with the majority of everything on the menu made in house. We sat on the bar side and liked it. Attentive service, friendly welcome. Small team all working together so we felt well taken care of. We will be back.“
“This has been a usual haunt for my family, and our out of town guests and we have been about 10-15 times in the last year and plan to continue dining there every few weeks. They are the most consistent in town for decent food and relaxed atmosphere.Their duck and chicken dishes are incredible along with a fun and creative cocktail list.To note: On the weekends the place can get quite busy and loud and a reservation is definitely advised.My only critique is that the service is slow and is lacking for the price of a plate (30-50$ per entre per person)“
“Used to be one of my favourite restaurants, and in terms of atmosphere, it's still a favourite. However, the vegetarian options are always a letdown. They usually only ever have one option, and sometimes it's been good in the past (falafel wrap as an example), but overall it's disappointing. I feel like not even offering a veggie burger as an option is a strange choice, and really limiting your customer base.“
“Greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staff member who patiently waited while I made my selection. She told us about the coupon that she was placing in our bag for future use, which was helpful as we likely would have thrown it out with the bag! The restaurant was very clean, with plenty of clean tables & seating if you chose to eat in. We took our food to go. Got our food home about 18 minutes after purchase, and it was still hot. 2 piece combo, spicy big Mary sandwich, large taters, and large coleslaw. Definitely too much food for 2 people! We had leftovers. We don't often have this type of food, but I will say that it was very tasty and we felt that it was good value for what we got. Between the friendly staff, cleanliness and food quality, I would definitely recommend this Mary Brown's location. We will be back.Parking: Plenty of parking right out front.“
“What an absolute gem, hole in the wall, gotta try it of a Restaurant Bistro and Bar.Friendly staff, Emma was our waitress and she helped us with our orders.She was friendly and fully dedicated to Bella Bistro's impeccable quality in service and food.The fact that the restaurant also kept everyone working during COVID, proves the importance of keeping a great workers relationship and happiness with the business.The food didn't take long to cook, started off with a nice B52 coffee, being an Italian special Bistro, coffee is very important and it was perfect.Ordered porc shirt rib starter and a homemade bred plate with homemade butter. As well as a plate of eggplant salad. All was very fresh, hot and delicious.As for the main course, I had the beef short rib with potatoes and a red sauce, melt in your mouth meats and the sauce was rich and a hint of sweet.We've also ordered a quarter lemon chicken, that sits on potatoes and covered with a cheese base white sauce. All in all, an absolute pleasure of a soirée.Be mindful, the plates and meals are no slouch either, large portions on the entrées and main course meals. We didn't have enough space left for cakes....and there's so many choices for desserts.I would recommend Bella Bistro for everyone, would also recommend you'd need to reserve ahead to ensure your seating, it gets very busy.Parking is fairly large, but be mindful that you'll lose some space during winter.Enjoy a night out at Bella Bistro.“
“Best Chinese food in Kingston! (And equal to Toronto Chinese food restaurants I grew up with.) Everything I’ve tried from Silver Wok has great flavour and never over cooked or mushy. Noodle dishes are always delicious and takeout doesn’t end up soggy. We usually order enough for a couple days of leftovers and it’s still delicious for work lunches!“

“Probably the best burger joint in town. When I first sat down and looked at the price I was taken aback a little bit, but after eating the food I can see why. Everything was just so fresh and tasty. The waffle fries were nice and crisp with a nice soft middle and the “La La Land” burger was just fantastic. I was a little skeptical about avocado and goat cheese on a burger once I started eating I couldn’t put it down. If you’re in the Kingston area, as if says on the door, You Gotta Eat Here.“

Not the most cheerful Barista I've ever met, but everyone has a personal preference that way. I prefer a highly caffeinated Barista with a big smile, but that's not everyone's cup of tea. So 5/5.Food: Typical. Nothing special. I'm sure they use a similar vendor as many other places in the area.Drink: Nothing Special. Good, but nothing unique or mind blowingly good.Atmosphere: Really nice and unique! A beautiful view of the square, great utilization of space without chairs/tables being jammed into each other and a great design-flow. Excellent for meeting up with friends or family to have a 15min chat before going somewhere else. The music is not overpowering either. We can hold a conversation without it interrupting.Conclusion: If you're in the area, it's a great place to meet up and have a few good chats before moving on. Food/drink are unremarkable, but there's good. No wifi means I won't be hanging around, but I think that's their goal.“

“We made reservations for my sister's birthday. I must say all of the positive reviews don't do this place justice. From the cozy seating, simple but refined menu, absolutely delicious appetizers, mains and desserts, comfortable, relaxing ambiance and we can't forget the service. Our server Marco was very friendly, funny, accommodating and helpful. He made us feel very welcome. And we can't forget our mixologist Abby who made the most amazing drinks for us and left a memorable experience with my nephew who will never forget this visit. “The level of customer service we received was outstanding! Our original dinner reservation for a dome was canceled due to the overwhelming response of people flocking to the hotel for the eclipse. Needless to say, I wasn't happy, as this was for my hubby's birthday. Kamal, the F&B supervisor was more than accommodating. Even after I sent some not very nice emails, expressing my displeasure. Once I actual read his email and his offer to make things right, I was quick to apologize. I don't want to be a "Karen". I work retail, so know how customers can be. ? When we arrived at the restaurant, he came right over, wished my hubby a happy birthday. I was glad to have the opportunity to apologize in person for my behavior in the emails. He was so understanding. Great personality for the position he holds. Our server, Jasmine was great! Prompt, friendly and apologized for what had happened. Which, she has no control of, I'm sure. Food was outstanding! Burger was one of the best I've had in awhile. The tomato Marmalade made it that much tastier!? Hubby said his fish & chips were delicious! Would definitely go there again.“
