We recently dined at Swiss Chalet for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The food was good , fresh, and served promptly. We were impressed by the quality and taste of every dish we tried.The rotisserie chicken was juicy and flavorful and perfectly seasoned.The staff was friendly and attentive, and our server (Polish lady) made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We were particularly impressed by the manager Tamy , who greeted customers with a warm smile and ensured that everyone felt welcome.The restaurant had a warm and welcoming ambiance, with comfortable seating. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner with our family.Overall, our experience at Swiss Chalet was excellent. We would recommend Swiss Chalet in Kingston to anyone looking for a great dining experience.Regards

I came into Swiss Chalet for a meal with my grandma. Our service was amazing thanks to our lovely server Olivia F. Unfortunately our experience there was not all great due to the manager, Laurel. Laurel was very condescending and as my grandma is more delayed as she gets older Laurel was very impatient with her. I am very disappointed that a restaurant me and my grandmother have been going to for years together would treat her in such a manner.
I ordered online through Uber. I started eating what I thought was a vegetable pot pie. Unfortunately it was a chicken pot pie. As someone who does not eat meat I was disappointed as I was looking forward to eating a delicious veggie pie and because I was eating meat. I thought it tasted better than a normal veggie pie but I assumed that they were just good at making veggie gravy. Luckily Uber refunded but I was still disappointed.

Food always comes out tepid. Usually they will bring a new order out but tonight the manager argued that she saw the food being plated so it couldn't be tepid. After insisting that it was tepid she finally agreed to bring out another order. This time it was hot. I really don't want to have to fight my way to getting a hot meal, which is what we are paying for. The manager needs to be less defensive and do what it takes to fix the problem at the table and at the source (kitchen), and not make the customer feel bad for complaining. I'm sorry but if this happens frequently, obviously it is a perpetual problem in the kitchen. Trying to decide if we will come back.
