“Got the bibimbap, pork bone soup, rice cakes with hot sauce.Bibimbap and pork bone soup were a solid 3.7/5 only because of portions and taste. I’d say it’s better than owl of Minerva tbh.The atmosphere is also very much similar to a Korean restaurant, quite homely. One big issues I’d say is the rice cakes. There was absolutely no hot sauce and they told us to add bibimbap sauce… that was not tasty.“
“Wow! I wanted to take a picture of the full box but I couldn't stop my self as soon as I opened it. The sauce is amazing, sweet with a bit of spicy. Leaves a very slight heat in your mouth but i wouldn't call it "hot" the chicken its self was all nice boneless cuts that was perfectly crispy. It was a great price for the amount of food you get in the box, and was ready in about 15mins from the time I called even tho it was at dinner time rush“
“I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Kim’s Kitchen. The food was SOOO good. The servers and owner gave the BEST service. I’m definitely coming again. Most delicious chicken in the entire waterloo region. After the first bite I started crying because it was so good. My server Beatrice came over and wiped my tears.“
“Have ordered from here multiple times on ubereats for comfort food days or when I've been too busy after a long day to cook, especially the kimbaps. The food is always clean, hygienic, and delicious! Hopefully I can go in-person sometime.“
“I've been here three times and the service is always amazing, as well as the food. Our server, May, was really attentive and sweet. Remembered what we liked best when she came by to take our orders, and explained everything we needed to know while warning us about allergens. We'll definitely be back again!“
“We had a fantastic experience at Busan BBQ! Joshua and Nithul were our servers, and they were incredibly pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. Please convey our gratitude to them; they epitomize excellence in service and made our evening memorable.“
“I had such a wonderful first experience at Top Chicken. Our server, Julie, was so sweet and funny! She was half of the experience itself - what a gem! The other half was getting to try amazing food! I tried two types of French fries and three different kinds of chicken as well as the cheese corn and all were fantastic. The chicken was cooked so well with a fabulous crunchy coating and yet I could literally cut it apart with a spoon. Everything was very flavourful. I will definitely be going back, and I will absolutely be bringing my friends.“
“We got the ramen chip, sweet potato, and gamsung rice dogs. They were too heavy with the sauce, but they still tasted good. The ramen chip was smaller than the rest of them for some reason, but the crunchiness of the ramen was an interesting contrast to the rice dog texture. We liked the sweet potato one the most.Overall, it's a tasty but pricey place for the occasional late night snack.“
“Good place to get a quick meal! Service is fast, and the portion size is perfect. I usually get the salmon bowl but have had the salmon and tuna bowl, bulgogi bowl, and spicy pork bowl, which were all tasty. My only complaint is that there are sometimes inconsistent as there were times they put too much sauce or the rice was clumpier than usual.“
“The food was authentic and the portions were large. Especially with the side dishes, we left very full, and the side dishes were also delicious. The fish cakes were our favourite. The chicken katsu was great, and the noodles were also flavourful. We would definitely come back.“
“Wonderful food. We ordered Jjajangmyeon (mixed noodle in dark sauce CAD9.95 - special offer of the day), pork cutlets rice (CAD16.95) and potato pork bone soup (CAD15.95) and an extra bowl of white rice. All dishes taste great. The noodle bowl is generously filled with noodle and sauce. The noodle is at a good chewy texture. The seasoning of the sauce is just perfect.Pork cutlets is large in size and still got some pork juice inside. The texture of the rice is great - a little sticky and chewy. Just like authentic Korean rice. The potato pork bone soup taste wonderful. A little spicy and great to serve alone or with rice. They also served appetizers, including fish cake, kimchi and braised sweet potato in soy sauce. The sweet potato is a must to eat.“
“I regret not eating from them SOONER, my local friends said this place was infamous but I took a chance today. got the half n half, the delivery person took 25 mins cus he had a couple stops to make (ubereats) BUT the chicken was incredibly Crispy and it was cooked soooo beautifully like so juicy and moist n tender soft. Unexpected for a boneless cut. Whenever I get fried chicken delivered this is unlikely and my afterthought is “huh would’ve been better at the restaurant” but, oh boy, this was different. I just want to relive the first bite. The sauce was spicy yet the sweetness perfectly recovered you from it. Glossy. Loved how there were a couple fries thrown in. (Also crunchy !), The originals were bit bland like I was left wanting for somthing but still incredibly good just dipped them in a lil salt n leftover drippings of sauce. The pieces in the middle that were half saucy and half original were absolute bliss haha. Overall I really recommend this place or atleast their fried chicken! Irresistible. Generously portioned too could feed 2 hungry people. Or 1 glutton (me).“
“We liked the samgyetang, which had flavourful broth and a big piece of ginseng. The galbitang was also good and had large pieces of beef. The gamjatang was pretty standard, but it was only $9.99 during the winter special! We also liked the side dish potatoes because they were fluffy but not dry.The interior is large, but it was a bit cold inside, and the chairs were not very comfortable.Overall, it's a decent place to get Korean food.“
“I've written only one other review as its time consuming to write one up. We recently discovered this place (Dec 2023). Apparently they been around a while... I wish we knew of them sooner..It's sort of hidden inside an office building that appears to be empty. You wouldn't know its in there, but they are. Sometimes the best places are hidden Gems. So take your significant other on an adventure and find this place, you won't regret it. You can park at the vacant building next door (corner of Park and Victoria). there's also parking at the rear off of Park Street. If you are just going for take out, you can park right next to the building, right next to the sidewalk (it almost looks as if you're on the sidewalk). We been there 4 times in the last 4 months. Great, fresh and affordable food, the servers are very friendly and accommodating. We've been to a few places that serves Sushi in town, this is our favourite. Their salad is perfectly fresh, not a wilted leaf to be found, it looks like they carefully select and slice their veggies. I think they use a razor blade to slice the food as it looks perfect. There are a few tables inside for eat-in and a courtyard when its warmer. Don't be fooled by its small size or the older office/warehouse decor, it's definitely worth a sit down or even a take out.. So far we've been there for their Japanese cuisine, judging from its quality and appearance, I have no doubt the Korean cuisine is just as good... I've seen them serve it up while eating-in and it looks fantastic... I've had their Salmon Lover dinner and my wife orders their picnic combo.. Thankyou Taste of Seoul.“
