So I've got to shout out Papa's Pizza in London, for the best pie I've had in I don't know how long! They've been around for 51 years and Tony's honouring the tradition his father started and oversaw until last year. Went to pick up a deluxe special for dinner one night. Wound up sitting with the owner while they made my pie from scratch. He explained the mural on the wall was to celebrate his son playing soccer, and regaled me with the history of how pizza was pioneered in Naples. Between the massive, delicious pizza, and the loaf of fresh-baked bread he insisted I take with me as well, free of charge, I felt like I'd robbed the place.
