“I rate this 4.5 out of 5. The service was good as well as the atmosphere was typical. The mixed sushi was tasty as well as the salmon teriyaki came with fried items and seaweed salad. The black dragon roll was very good. Would come back to eat here again.“

“Have always seen Umiya Sushi when driving through downtown London. Thought to go and order something tonight to see if I may have a new local favourite. I was greeted upon entry by a lovey younger gentleman, he was very polite and friendly. Even when I was picking up my order 3 minute until closing.

I got the Salmon Trio and an extra miso soup. If I knew how wonderful my all around experience would have been I would’ve never been to any other sushi restaurant.

And may I say, some of the freshest salmon I have ever had. I was beyond impressed, especially for my first time going. I will be going by to try more now that I know the quality.

All around a 10/10 truly recommend to anyone who is looking for a new favourite restaurant.“

“My son and I always visit this place together for dinner, and we love it. My son is the pickiest of eaters, but is always asking to either order in or come eat here. This sushi is the best in town, you can tell it’s made with so much love! It helps that the service is also exceptional.“

“I’ve been to Miku more than three times now and it never disappoints. Yes, the price for dinner is on the higher side ($42.99/adult), but it’s all-you-can-eat and worth it for the experience. You get to grill your own food right at the table, plus they offer sashimi, their amazing eel rice (one of my absolute favorites), and a good variety of dishes.

What I also appreciate is that the servers give you space—they don’t hover, but they’re quick when you need something. Overall, I actually prefer Miku over 168 Sushi. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun, quality AYCE spot.“

“We have been pleased with Mikado's food over the last few years. Sashimi is fresh, sushi rolls are well prepared, tempura is good, and we like their recent additions to the menu. BUT, Mikado please keep your Skip, DoorDash, and Uber Eats menus up-to-date. None of Mikado's new menu items are available on Skip/DoorDash/Uber.“

“My son really loves nigiri so we went there to buy two nigiri combos with tuna and salmon. But there was nothing left. We asked the chef if she could make two for us. She was so kind that she made what we wanted right away. My son was fully satisfied with her kindness and the taste of nigiri. So fresh and yummy! Two thumbs up!“

“My bf and I went out for Sunday dinner and dining in changed Hanabi for us. We have gotten it take out a couple times and love it - but now we know dining in for sushi changes it! It was so amazing we were both looking at each other like wow. I dance when I eat and this was so good. We got the Tokyo and Volcano Crab rolls and beef gyoza. Perfect amount. The price is not the cheapest sushi in London but you have to pay for these flavours. We will be holding ourselves back from returning too much.“

“If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine with a western twist, bento is the way to go. Had a poke bowl for lunch, and it surpassed my expectations. You can pretty much customize anything you want to your liking, making it perfect for vegetarians and vegans. The price is pretty reasonable considering the amount of food you get.“

The owner Sky, as well as his colleagues, are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable when it comes to dietary restrictions (gluten free). For pre-made sushi the quality is excellent. “I’ve really enjoyed eating here. The stuff is lovely, nice atmosphere but specially the food is good and the portions are quite generous. I had a bento and sushi MU, and it was quite filling but, specially, was so good! I’ve really enjoyed it. I will definitely come back again.“
