“This restaurant has a great variety of menu options, especially Japanese and Korean dishes. I ordered the salmon poke bowl, and it was delicious, with fresh salmon and a generous portion. The prices are also quite affordable. I especially liked that you can easily customize your poke bowl using the iPad, whether you want to add or remove certain toppings.
The server was very nice and welcoming, and they consistently checked in to make sure everything was good.
The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere and isn’t too noisy, making it a great place to chat and enjoy your meal.“

“Stopped here for lunch with my daughter and partner, the lady at the counter was so sweet. My daughter is autistic and they were very understanding when she spilled her water and we had to leave. They packed everything to go with care. The food and the price we paid was amazing! I will be coming back when I’m in town! Loved it! The bento box was GREAT!“

“I have been dying for a place like this to open in London, Ontario. By far, this is the best sushi restaurant in this city. Finally, I can get the types of sushi that I crave, such as white tuna, hamachi, surf clam, octopus, salmon roe, mackerel, and even aburi-style sushi. Beyond that, you have a wonderful selection of classic and modern sushi rolls, steak tataki, and excellent tempura and udon. This systematically checks all of my boxes with the one exception of uni (sea urchin). The cuts/portions are excellent, like you would actually experience in a sushi restaurant that is top-notch in Toronto or Vancouver. COVID unfortunately changed the landscape of what was available in London, Ontario, and several places ceased to exist, and many go-to destinations reduced their portions and quality in a way that left a cold shadow of the past. But Hanabi Sushi is the saviour of sushi in London and a shining beacon of excellence. You must try this restaurant!“

“If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine with a western twist, bento is the way to go. Had a poke bowl for lunch, and it surpassed my expectations. You can pretty much customize anything you want to your liking, making it perfect for vegetarians and vegans. The price is pretty reasonable considering the amount of food you get.“
“My son really loves nigiri so we went there to buy two nigiri combos with tuna and salmon. But there was nothing left. We asked the chef if she could make two for us. She was so kind that she made what we wanted right away. My son was fully satisfied with her kindness and the taste of nigiri. So fresh and yummy! Two thumbs up!“

“I’ve picked up lunch from this location many times and always had a wonderful experience! The owner Sky, as well as his colleagues, are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable when it comes to dietary restrictions (gluten free). For pre-made sushi the quality is excellent. Thank you for your consistency and warm smiles each visit!

“Honestly, we demolished a workout and demolished their profit margins after and they treated us very well. 4 of us ate about 80 pieces of meat + 40 pieces of sushi, alongside some appetizers & loved every bit of it. Great service and great quality food.“
