“Almost forgot about this little gem when we were out for breakfast. We were a bit late for breakfast so had lunch early. Delicious quiche and homemade soup or a very fresh salad. We followed with one of the lightest most delicious lemon pies ever cooked. It’s worth the trip, trust me. They have quite a few fresh baked muffins and squares too for dessert. It is run by senior volunteers for charity, they are very friendly and the place is spotless. Maybe a little difficult to access in a wheelchair but I did notice one person in a wheelchair and she was help by companions and staff. Probably not good for small children as it’s a small place so there’s no running around or high chairs that I saw. $38 tax in for two for lunch with dessert is hard to beat. Not licensed“

“Found this awesome little café in a chill neighborhood. Perfect spot to grab a warm coffee before heading out to the Mud Lake trail for a quick winter hike. It's super easy to stroll over to the trail entrance. The bartender, a cool young lady, hooked us up with some delicious coffee. Oh, and definitely treat yourself to their killer scones – the jam-topped one rocked our taste buds. Seems like scones are their specialty, and they've got other tasty varieties too!“

“AMAZING SERVICE, amazing food. I order almost on a weekly basis and I think they may be aware of who I am because of my frequency and same orders… but they constantly upgrade my orders or throw in little extras, they are Amazing I genuinely appreciate their generosity, they leave cute messages saying “oops we gave you an extra bag of chips, sorry our fault” very nice. Not a lot of business like this anymore. Really does make your day! Thank you guys, you have a supporter for ever.“

“Great place with good, hearty food in an odd location.Yes, as others have pointed out, it's inside the Toyota dealership. Just go in the regular sales entrance, walk past the front desk, up the stairs, and you're right there. A few tables and seats for guests, including sofas for the customer lounge. You can also sit at a a bar height counter and enjoy the view over the service bay. Definitely unique! We had breakfast and some sandwiches. Huge portions! Great service. Nice guys behind the counter. They also had some kind of stew served with rice. We didn't get that, but seemed to be a favourite with the staff working in the dealership.Food was good, coffee was good. Would definitely recommend.Parking: Lots of parking available in the dealership lot. And this was on a Saturday.“

“TLDR: Solid and affordable breakfast at this office building cafeteria, with surprisingly high ceilings and tall glass windows. Open to the public. My husband and I had breakfast here together on a day that we were both off from work. While it was not fancy, it was very affordable and tasted good. Queensview Cafe is located on the main floor of an office building. However, it's open to the public, you don't need to work in the building to access it. It is hidden away around the back of the building and is not visible from the street, so unless you're looking for it, you'll likely never just stumble upon it. Well, unless you actually work in the building or are going there for business. Anyway, y'all know I love those hidden spots! My husband had the full breakfast ($7.50) which came with 2 eggs, toast, home fries and your choice of meat (bacon, ham or sausage), and a large coffee ($2.50). I got a breakfast sandwich ($4.50). My sandwich came on a toasted English muffin and had bacon, egg and cheese in it. I forgot to say no butter on the bread, so it was generously buttered, which some may like, but I prefer my bread dry. It was too greasy for my liking, but that was on me. Otherwise, the sandwich was tasty. The bacon was crispy and the cheese was well melted. My husband liked his dish. He enjoyed the home fries which were crispy and nicely seasoned, although he noted they were a bit heavy-handed with the salt. I had a cube and I would agree. His bacon was also crispy. His eggs were over-hard like he requested. He has no complaints about his coffee. The place is very spacious and feels even bigger due to the high ceilings and tall glass windows. Very nice ambiance, especially for an office building cafeteria. It's open to the public, so you don't have to work in the building to access it (like you don't need a building pass or anything like that). Service was courteous. And when we left they thanked us for supporting their business. Their hours are limited. They aren't open weekends or evenings, so their target demographic really is the office building workers. They sell lunch as well and have items like burgers, fries, soup and sandwiches with also reasonable prices. I regret not knowing about this place when I worked in the area. Free parking is available in the office building parking lot. (30)“

“i used to work there, and i’ve been back multiple times to enjoy coffee and food because their coffee is genuinely one of my favourite in ottawa. all I have to say is their food has gotten so much better even though it was really good to begin with. they widened their menu to attract more people with different tastes. as a previous barista and cashier, i’m very proud of how much they’ve grown as a company!! nothing bad to say about them :)“

“Came by for a post dinner tea, inside it’s decorated very well, there are pictures all over the wall, some antique artifacts like an old radio near the sugar/cutlery station a mirror featured wall really gives the illusion of a bigger space. They have some seating available, including floor cushions. There is a sign that states limit to one hour when busy which I can understand. We arrived shortly before the post Iftar rush. It got very busy very quickly. Staff seemed to be overwhelmed as they get through all customers. We waited to have our order taken but sat down when they were busy. Eventually we placed our order and waited. Since we only got an adani chai and kunafa, we got our items quickly. The Adana chai was cooked well, it was creamy and flavourful. We got sugar sticks $.75 the concept it great, however, the stick breaks very quickly leaving your drink incredibly sweet so make sure to not leave it in there if you want a somewhat sweet tea.The kunafa was $12 for a piece. This was dissatisfying, it appeared to be re-heated because that was definitely not a fresh kunafa. It was dry and around the edges. We only had a few bites and left it.Overall, They have a large selection of drinks to choose from, and sandwiches. It appears to be incredibly busy during Ramadan but I will definitely come back to have the tea again.Wheelchair accessibility: No barriers in place“
“Great spot to pick a ceramic piece and express your creativity. A lot of options from a jewelry box, a vase, animal statues, plates, bowls, mugs, etc. The staff was very friendly and explained everything well. I do wish there were more paint options as I was looking for a wider array of pinks and purples. I'm excited to see what the finished product is after glazing“

“I'm going through some health issues and have a small baby, so I'd ordered a weeks worth of flash frozen meals. They are so, so good! They're healthy, tasty, and best of all no cooking involved. The portions are generous and I can feed myself, my Mom and my 16 month old loves them too. I'll be a returning weekly customer for sure.“
