I finally had a chance to check out The Garden Basket after being curious about it for many years. I would say it's like a cross between Loblaw and Farm Boy. The aisles are relatively organized and they have a good selection of produce, baked goods, flowers, etc. There is even a small coffee stand. I just moved to the area over a month ago and also new to the neighbourhood. There were a few selection of grocery markets within a 2km radius which was quite nice. And this market being one of them on my list. I've visited Food Basics and No Frills which was also within 2km radius and found Garden Basket to be my top store to go to for fresh fruits and vegetables. A baker's heaven. Every time I try out new recipes, I can always count on garden basket to have all the ingredients I need. I always see their staff working tirelessly, stocking and re-stocking their shelves. I'm impressed with their in-house baked goods section as we don't often see freshly baked breads and pastries in many large supermarkets nowadays. Huge cheese selection.
