She is truly a dream come true. The caring, patience and explanations she gave us at this restaurant blew my mind. Then it became apparent, the entire staff appreciates that you came for a meal. “I went to this restaurant with 2 friends. We wanted to try something new. We ordered a hotpot dinner and a dessert cold pot to share among us. The hotpot was very delicious with generous portions of meat, seafood, veggies, with a side of mung bean noodles to cook later on in the broth. Dessert was a cold pot with grass jelly, mochi, chestnut paste, azuki beans, peanuts and a whole bunch of other dessert toppings I’m sure I forgot to mention! Cold milk tea is poured into the pot and then served in individual bowls. There was enough food from both the dinner and dessert to feed the three of us leaving nothing behind, yet all feeling sufficiently full and satisfied. Thank you very much for the wonderful meal. I’m definitely coming back!”

Counter staff was quite friendly and even provided insight to help us with decisions. We ended up doing a Shrimp/Halibut combo (one bowl and a quesadilla) with a great array of fixings. “Went to Sushi Umi again for dinner last night. Phenomenal experience as the 1st time. Everything was very fresh and high quality. Appetizer,sashimi, sushi, temaki and dessert were all flavourful with a nice balance. Also ordered the a la carte of the waggu uni and foie gras sushi. The foie gras sushi was literally melted in my mouth. Very satisfied Omakase at Umi. Very attentive staff and professional chef. Keep up the good work Sushi Umi!!!”

“Came at 8:30pm today. Staff took my order (there was the only one and I saw the name is Gemi on the receipt) was so kind and understanding. I couldn’t eat too spicy so he was ok when I wanted chili on the side. My friend had issues with his spicy noodle and the staff also fixed it to him. We enjoyed our meal a lot thanks to the staff’s exceptional customer service. On top of that the food was great. The place had some very good spices and sauces which made the food more flavorful. I fell in love with the wonton, especially its soup in it”

“We had over 20 guests for dinner at this particular location. The food was delicious and very tasty. We order lamb briyani, shrimp briyani, chicken briyani and veg briyani. The curry we ordered was butter chicken, panner, shrimp curry and fish curry with butter naan. It was absolutely amazing. I would definitely back for more and recommendto family and friends. Their front-line staff are friendly and knowledgeable when issues arise with their ordering system and the Tim Hortons app. Martin is able to resolve issues with the app order. One gentleman who is probably the supervisor is also knowledgeable and has great customer service skills. He is quick to respond to customer issues and appears to be supportive of his team.”

The original location I went to was not helpful at all.Here, the 7828 Kennedy Rd-location manager took the time to explain to me (over the phone) how to cancel an app-based order, and when that failed, she did honor the mobile order later in the afternoon.The first location (which I should respectfully keep anonymous), just brushed me aside and told me to contact the Kennedy location for a refund, brushed me off and did not help me thereafter.It really is a night-and day difference between different Tim Horton locations.”

“This tim Hortons suck. I went there once to buy a doughnut. IT WAS MELTED. They choose to give me a melted doughnut while I was watching them. Their service is exceptional. It's not that hard to make a warm sandwich too, every time I buy a cravable, it's cold to the point I can't even eat one without drinking the hot drinks! “So this boutique shop is tucked away in the unit right next to Yuzu No Ki (sharing a space w/ Tora Sushi). My gf and I did not even notice it the first time around when we visited Yuzu No Ki (which is also a 5 star shop btw).Admittedly, I'm not the biggest mochi fan, but the quality of these mochis were incredible. My gf ordered an assorted box of 6 mochis.Very fresh and I really liked the cream filled mochis more than the regular filling ones. Mango in particular, struck a deep chord w/ me. I love mango anything and the mango mochi did not disappoint.To get the best tasting experience, take your refrigerated mochis out and let them rest until room temperature before consuming. I found that the dough and filling had a better mouth feel upon waiting a bit after taking them out of the fridge.”

The batter tasted different from other Katsu's I've had but I liked it a lot and it goes well with the curry sauce! The jam that came with it was a bit of an odd combo...not bad but I personally wouldn't eat it with the jam. The portions are also massive! I asked for a take out container and I like how they asked if I wanted to take home some sauce too. Service was friendly.”

Anyways, I think this place got new owners who were able to turn it around, and it shows.”

“I've watched this brewery grow a lot since the first time I visited them 7 years ago. The range of beers has grown as has their fantastic tap room. Great staff, welcoming environment and dog friendly. What us really outstanding are the beers, a good balance of lagers, IPAs and sours.”

“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here.Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. “Incredible experience at this particular location, the customer service was just above and beyond. We came in to choose any birthday cake and leave until our eyes caught this beautiful Winnie the Pooh and piglet cake. Unfortunately our group of three also consists of a tigger, who was non existent on the cake. How could we buy a cake without the complete trip?! Yvonne saw the disappointment in our eyes and made our day by going out of her way to draw tigger. Not only is she a sweetheart but she sure is talented as well! “This Harvey's is the closest one to my home. It's a combo store with Swiss Chalet. It's located next to Kelsey's and faces Markham Road, just south of 14th Avenue. I found out through one of my social media feeds that Harvey's had a burger deal. You had a choice between getting the original or veggie burger through the Harvey's app for $1.65. I love a good deal. I used the app for the first time to order my original burger and customize it. I like that Harvey's has garlic mayo and a ton of veggies. I wanted to use my Scene points. I needed to order a minimum of $5 to be able to use them. I got a regular orange cream shake, which got me to this minimum. It was nice using my points and paying just over $1 for my order. I drove southbound on Markham Road and turned right to get to Harvey's. I was greeted by a seagull and two Canadian geese. All were looking for food. I was, too! At the order area, I spoke with a helpful woman. I indicated that I had a order. She found my name on the order and said that I could pull up to the window. The woman was great. She handed my shake and small paper bag with my burger. I thanked her and drove home. I had the shake on my way home. I do appreciate that the top was sealed with a couple of sticky labels. However, taking it off was a challenge. You do need to make sure that you're not sucking down remnants of these labels. I loved the shake. It was like a mild orange version of a creamsicle. It was the perfect size and made me happy. I had the burger for dinner. It was excellent for the price that I got for it. Delicious toppings. Flavourful beef patty. The perfect whole wheat bun. It satisfied my burger craving. My wallet was happy with the price, too. I had a wonderful experience. I hope to take advantage of future deals and return to this eatery for more. (142)”

“I placed a mobile order in the parking lot for a Banana Loaf cake (not warmed). Although this should be quick to fulfill, sometimes orders like this do take some time due to how busy they are. Nevertheless, I was greeted enthusiastically as soon as I stepped in and one of the baristas asked me if my name was _____. I said yes and he quickly directed me to the middle area to wait for my order. It took less than a minute for another barista to hand me the loaf and I was on my way.The Banana loaf was flavourful and tasty even the next day. Only thing I have is the high calories and sugar but I suppose this is expected. I received it free as part of a deal so I can’t complain too much.I do have a little beef with seating at Starbucks in general. Not the same as it used to be before COVID where there were nice comfy seating. But as I remember, this particular location never did have lounge chairs, only wooden ones. They limited the seats during COVID but have since brought it back.”

From the outset, both Gio and Jennifer handled the situation with utmost professionalism and empathy. The box included sauteed shrimps, calamari, fishballs, fried chicken cartilage, grilled chicken, shrimp chips, mango salad and 3 sauces. On the side it came with mango sticky rice and 2 drinks. We chose thai milk tea (less sweet) and thai lime tea (less sweet as well).The food was SO TASTY. Seasoning was on point and the homemade sauces were FIRE. My fave was the peanut sauce.The thai lime tea was super unique imo. You don't really find that at many thai restos even the authentic ones downtown. I also loved the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level on the tea as well which is a welcome surprise. Normally, restos just give you a default level of sweetness.”

And overall this place had so many options which all were so delicious, the quality of the food was amazing, everything was so fresh and there were a few things that were sold out when we came because of the popularity. But the service was very accommodating and the servers even gave us separate bags for each pastry and bun. But the main thing that stood out was the price for everything. It was all so cheap for the quality we were getting and it allowed us to try so many different things. I will definitely be coming back to try more and also seating was available nearby due to this place being in the food court area.”

When you book for a 2h time slot, you are able to use the space for the party and can rearrange the tables how you like them. We were able to bring outside food in for human guests and we started a tab at the cafe bar for our guests. Other customers were able to come in and get something however were not allowed to stay inside while the party was going on which was nice. I think the price was reasonable and we were given an hour to set up before the party started. There was a bit of a hiccup on opening and setting up however the owners were super nice and accommodating. At the end of the day I was super thrilled with the result however hosting a dog party with more than 10 dogs is definitely overwhelming. Highly recommend. 10 pup cups included and a bag of treats!”

She even managed to check in on us regularly in spite of the fact that she had to cover several multiple person tables including a couple of large groups. The tapioca is hand-made and it's SO DELICIOUS!I got the milk tea with mango tapioca (half sweet and no ice), and although I didn't really taste much mango, the tapioca was SO GOOD and chewy. I don't know if I can explain it well, but compared to some other tapioca places with the black tapioca, it's more of a softer chew. The milk tea was also very refreshing! Not too thick, not too watery, and still nice and cold without the ice. :)I went around 11:30am and had wanted to try the rainbow tapioca milk tea, but they only had mango tapioca at the time. I hope I can try it next time. This might be my go-to boba shop in pmall from now on! Even if I have to pay a little more than other places.”
