Very pleasantly surprised. Did not expect much based on the reviews. We had roast pork and Hainan chicken combo on rice with gai lan and it was frigging divine. Got a few blocks of tofu and chow mein with BBQ pork in it. Very fresh. Excellent quality. $26 for all and we have a ton of leftovers. This place had a long lineup and know we know why. Good value. Good food.
Ordered takeout from Jian Hong Yuen for the first time and the food was delicious! It was for Thanksgiving weekend and there was a bit of a mix-up with the order (small suckling pig and 2 roast ducks), but they got everything squared away after a quick chat. The suckling pig was amazing, the skin was super crispy and melt in your mouth yummy. The ducks were really good too, plenty of food for our Friendsgiving party of 4 families.
