I've been a loyal Mr Sub customer for quite a while now. However, my recent experiences have led me to reconsider. Just the other day, I ordered a meatball sub, but when I got home and opened it up, this is what I found. This is very disappointing, and I'm done driving out of my way to buy from Mr Sub.

Small Louisiana chicken for $12.09. Received 33 grams of chicken on a sandwich which weighed 150 grams. Very disappointed in this sandwich because of the lack of meat. It was very dry as it was mostly bread.We are long-time customers but the quality/quantity offered by the new owners does not warrant future visits.

I went to the Mr. Sub and I have been coming here for a very long time (since I was a little girl). The old owner retired and now they have become very cheap. They put 3 pickles and 3 banana peppers on my sub, I kindly asked for extra but I got attitude back. It gets frustrating when you come so often. The food quality is great and it is very clean but the reason why this place was so great was because of the nice service and the generosity with the old owner. Now I don’t know if I am going to come very often.

If I can put the service to a zero star I will gladly love to. First there are no bread options at this location always, The lady right when I walk in talks about what I’m wearing and not just me talks about my friends clothing aswell, which made the conversation weird right away. Right after I tap my card it started to say please wait and declined and so I try another card and that declines too after a long time wait on the machine saying “please wait” the lady says” you’re wasting my paper receipts make sure there’s money in your bank. That’s the worst customer service experience I had no wonder why that location has nobody eating there because of the staff. Just to make sure it wasn’t my card and it was the store, I drove from Markham to Scarborough went to the Kingston location and gladly got helped and served respectfully. Please look at who you guys hire.

Be consistent with the other franchise locations with the quality of the sandwiches. I don't know if it was just because it was Sunday or an Ubereats delivery, but the sandwiches were aweful. Trying to save by giving paper thin vegetables and stale bread must be profitable or you wouldn't be doing it.

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff but very cheap with the toppings, I went a month ago and again last week and asked for lots of pickles on my large subs, she put 8 on, I asked for more and got 12. Not what I'd call lots. Tomatoes were very thin too. I only asked for pickles and mayo so it wasn't like I was piling on the toppings. Asked for extra sauce on a pizza sub and got 2 lines of sauce, had to ask 3 times for more. Hasn't been the same since the old owner retired a couple of years ago.Food quality was excellent and tasted great but subs could have been better.

Fresh but skimpy on vegetable toppings. Paid by cash scanned my loyalty reward card but didn't receive digital stamp for sub purchase. Went back in the store to try get my deserved stamp 30 minutes later but employee was unhelpful and dismissed my request for digital stamp. Repeat customers keep businesses open... Too bad I won't be repeating...

Excellent Mr Sub , franchise. The owner takes pride in a clean and welcoming restaurant. Ingredients are fresh . Staff is helpful . Every time I visit always have excellent customer service . Craving a sub / sandwich in markham , this place is a definite go.

My experience was quite upsetting as I asked for just a few things on my sub, the quantity of the vegetables they were putting on the sub was waayyyy less as compared to any other sub place. I asked for mushrooms and on a whole 12 inches sub, they put like 3-4 mushrooms. I had to ask to put extra onions 3 times to get it to the right quantity. The lady that was working there didn't greet us when we came into the store but when other people came to the store she greeted them, I have never felt racism in this diverse country until this point.

I m rating this place as 3 stars only from today's worst experience I could ever imagine as this young girl was not friendly at all, seemed attitude problem from first minute I dealt with her. I clearly ordered 12 inch white bread grilled chicken sub as I always but from the owner peaceful service but OMG... myself being a vegetarian have no knowledge about kind of chicken etc so I repeated 2 3 times to her. I was not sure which chicken owner used but sub came out as Louisiana pepper chicken though she asked whether I wanted non spicy or spicy so I said non spicy but I didn't know about Louisiana type.On 12 inch sub, she was only placing 4 pieces of English cucumber round pieces plus she was going to cut them into halves to fill the empty space on the bread. I stopped her and said u need to put more pieces on whole sub while telling me that vegs are very expensive outside so she is only placing 4 pieces of age will charge me extra. I was getting more mad about her words. At cash, she charged me for Louisiana sub with a shock I had cuss I was not sure if my son would like or not. She was shouting to me in front of another customer saying to pay and leave the store or I will call police. Kept threatening me about police and counting 1,2 and 3, by 3 I should exit. I can never imagine how she survived at Mr sub for 3 years with this rude ugliest attitude. I will call bread office tomorrow and complain about her attitude she had with me as a regular customer at this location. Ignore going here when she working in the evening.Also I notice only this location vegs cut so small watery chunks, can never bite the vegs taste except for gulping down without realizing that's vegs are inside. I wish if Mr sub would cut vegs as shown in display pictures but seems stores are saving for using less.
