“Service was spot on! Didnt miss a beat, even running solo with a busy bar. Knew the menu with depth. Gave great suggestions for gluten-free food! and the Canadian version of a Bloody Mary, a Bloody Caesar-deliscious!Beautiful old building, yet clean and obviously cared for. Us visitors felt welcome in an obviously neighborhood gem locals' spot. And the food! You could taste the pride in their plates. I've never had a burger outside my kitchen taste better! Wow ghost burger for the win (went with the holiday appropriate decor). And after one bite my partner had no other desire than to eat every last homemade chili cheese nacho, lol!Well done Franklin House ????! We wish we lived closer.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Went here for the first time. The pastry is amazing. It equals the filling which is delicious. It makes you believe you are in a small country town in the U.K. It's a must have! Don't deprive your mouth and tummy of joy! You pay for what you get and I feel like I've won the jackpot with this. We enjoyed the Braised Beef Rib pie and the Chicken Mushroom pie. Looking forward to trying more.“
“I’ve been wanting to eat fish and chips for a couple weeks now, and I’m finally able to today! Not only that, but I just ordered the BEST fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time! If you want old school style fish and chips, then come here because that’s exactly what I was looking for and Queensway Fish and Chips did not disappoint me! I’m going in to eat next time, though. I want to personally experience dining in, as well as formally thanking the wonderful people who made this delicious meal I’m currently scarfing. Omg. Mmmmm SO Good!!! ? ??“
“The food is out of this world!!! We went last night, chicken tikka, stuffed Yorkie fish and chips. All are the best in category. How is that even possible? Somehow they have knocked all of them outta the park. Even had live music ❤️“
“Visited for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is whimsically decorated giving it a really fun atmosphere. Very Alice in Wonderland! I had the duck entree and it was delicious. The service was fantastic as well despite it being very busy. My friend and I decided we definitely have to go back very soon! I’m looking forward to trying more things on the menu.“
“I came here with family for lunch on St Patrick’s day. At first, we were nervous, because the place was loud, especially when the crowd cheered the soccer match. However, the crowd grew quiet to enjoy the Irish step dancers. The Lionheart pub has a small stage that is well-suited to these dancers, and the entertainment was a lovely surprise. The food was quite tasty. Well-prepared comfort food. I enjoyed the corned beef sandwich. On such a crowded day, of course service was a little slow. However, the staff were amazing. We were a large group, and they offered to create separate checks. They never rushed us, and let us enjoy our time, despite a long line waiting to get in.“
