She took the bag and came back with it and another small bag, Coleslaw, and off I went, with a pleasant, " thank you".When I got home, only 2 orders, and the Coleslaw.GOOD FRIDAY DINNER WAS RUINED !!!Tried a phone call Friday, nothing.Tried a phone call Saturday ( after 4 ), nothing.I will Never go back to Clarkson Fish and Chips.We are Human, we make Mistakes, but this was at the wrong time.

I used to order from this place all the time but I will never order or give them my business again.It's to bad because I was never disappointed with the food, the only thing was I felt that the fish was a little bit greasy. The reason for me not to ever go back, is the Lady(Owner) doesn't appreciate repeated busines. A year ago I tried to pre-order some food 3 days before good Friday. When I called to place an order for that day, the owner responded rudely saying that I should of pre-order a week in advance & hung up on me. I always found her a little arrogant & rude but she really out did herself this time also who the hell pre- orders fish & chips a week in advance.

Pretty much as good as it gets without a gourmet chef. Prices are good. Fish is excellent, chips are good, love the onion rings too. Great coleslaw (there are 2 varieties/styles to choose from) Mushy peas are alright too. Been going here since 70’s, no longer live in the area but drive back every couple weeks to keep enjoying. Support the local private family run place!
