Had the halibut and it was perfectly prepared. Great crispy batter and not greasy. Not overly moist fish, but not overcooked. Frying oil did not impart any undesirable flavour. Friendly service. Closest thing to the east coast.
What a fabulous place. They have daily Jumbo Dinner specials , huge portions. This was enough for two of us. Selection of Halibut, Haddock, shrimp , even Mushy Peas on the menu. The food was delish! This is a TRUE Fish & Chip spot, not a chain. They offer dine in take out. I'm not sure about ubereats or the others. The ladies who run the place are it even better. ?? This is a definite go to. Pretty much as good as it gets without a gourmet chef. Prices are good. Fish is excellent, chips are good, love the onion rings too. Great coleslaw (there are 2 varieties/styles to choose from) Mushy peas are alright too. Been going here since 70’s, no longer live in the area but drive back every couple weeks to keep enjoying. Support the local private family run place!
