They have the lights so dim that it's near impossible to read the menu. I guess that also hides the food too. On the plus side it is one of the bestest places to eat in the local area but there's better value for money elsewhere.

I have been here many times with friends and family and the Keg never disappoints. However this time, our meal was extra special by the service! Our server, Daniel N, went above and beyond taking care of us and answering any questions with great recommendations. Thank you Daniel! We will be back soon!

We had a party of four. Three ordered prime rib, one ordered New York steak. I requested medium cook for my prime rib, it cooked perfectly and very tender with good amount of vegetable as side. Definitely will return and recommended.

Have not been to the Keg in a few years but the steaks were delectable.Cooked to perfection and the service was amazing once things were ironed out.For starters I had the lobster bisque, which was lovely although slightly salty.For mains, I had the rib steak and was it full of flavour, quite literally melting in my mouth.I usually have my steaks medium rare and the chef may over cook or under cook them on occasion, but this was done to a tee.Coupled with the whisky peppercorn…Bon appetite.Oooh and a nice glass of red.The brocollini with the mac and cheese were a lovely accompaniment.I added vegetables as well but these were not the greatest, chips were nice and so too was the mash.For dessert I would recommend the bill or miner pie, this never fails to amaze me.Just a lovely slice to end the meal.One complaint was having 6 people sat in a circular booth.It feels extremely claustrophobic, let alone if the plates glasses etc were laid out and considering the restaurant was empty, this seemed slightly unnecessary.Regardless, once I asked to move the lovely staff were happy to help and the issue was remedied.Definitely visit this branch as the food, decor and vibe just seem nicer than the others nearby.Vegetarian options: Not too many besides salads and vegetables.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space to bring children and definitely something they will like.From food to the venue itselfWheelchair accessibility: Easy access to get in.

If I could give 10 stars for service, I would!Mark was our server and I accidentally ordered the prime rib, meaning to order the rib steak. I confessed my error when he came to check on the table. He insisted on sending us home with a rib steak dinner. The manager came over (Kendra) and I told her the mix up was because of me, and she also insisted that I get a rib steak dinner at no extra cost.We were amazed at their service! They obviously wanted to see us happy, and believe me we were!
All perfect.I wish we would have something like this in Germany.Ash is close but not there.

Went to celebrate my birthday with family. Had the best experience. Food to atmosphere was awesome. My server was “May”. She was fantastic. So attentive pleasant and just the best server I have had in years. Give that girl a raise ! She’s amazing. Best dinner in years ! Thanks May and all the staff at the Keg Heartland.
