“So we're flying out of Hamilton, which we've never done before, and we get to the airport later than is recommended. We also haven't had breakfast yet, because it's crazy early in the morning, and most places aren't even open yet. "No problem," think I. "There is a branch of Canada's National Doughnut and Coffee Chain™ once we get through security. We'll go through, and then get some breakfast sandwiches." Error. There is a location past security, but it's one of those "lite" locations that serve considerably less than the full menu. No breakfast sandwiches. Only doughnuts. Not a good strategy when you're trying to limit your carbs. So what do we do now? We look around, and see that J&A's Bar (which I had noticed in the amenities list on the airport's web site and them promptly ignored because, even if I were a drinker, who wants a beer or whatever at 5:30 in the morning. (Apparently nobody, because they didn't seem to be doing any business on that score.) However, they were doing a roaring business in things like breakfast sandwiches (or other pre-wrapped goodies). So, we got hot breakfasts after all. I went for an omelette, and my sweetie got a breakfast sandwich. I was very impressed. The food was better than we would have been likely to get from the chain, even if they did have a full-service location after security. Best of all, we didn't have to pay the stratospheric prices that all the concessions charge at Pearson. I really must fly through Hamilton more often.”

“Best airport food shop/bar I have been too. Cappuccinos, fresh sandwiches, other healthier snack options, and great service. And local craft brews on tap too!The other option is Timmy's which is terrible.It is too bad more airports don't have this type of shop.The prices were reasonable for an airport. $5 for a large cappuccino is not bad in comparison to Pearson airport.They also have a great little supplement drink called "sick day". It is delicious and it has echinacea and other goodness in it.”

“This has been my favourite location since they opened. All the staff here are incredible. And because I come here so often they know what my order is. Incredible team of worker. Drive thru is usually fast. The only thing that’s messed up is the entry and exit here.”

“Came here for lunch with my mother and a friend, ordered three rolls and the hwe dup bap (rice and sashimi bowl) and everything was really fresh and delicious! The food is reasonably priced and for what we paid, we received a good filling portion (especially the rice bowl).The place was small but clean and the service was a bit slow but totally understandable since it's a smaller business. Not sure if I'd dine in here again but I would 100% order takeout next time I'm craving sushi/Korean food.editing 2 months later: my family got a maki tray, unagi donburi and kimchi fried rice, all really good! still recommend this place :)Best of luck to you guys!”

“My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new and came to visit this restaurant today and everything was so good! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the food is really good. While waiting for our order, we were served Turkish tea which was comforting and the staff helped us bring our food to the car - such friendly people! Our food was cooked so well and there was so much flavour added to our dishes, we will definitely be visiting again and would recommend this place to anyone!! :) excited to try more dishes!”

Stumbled in on a Sunday to a wonderfully warm welcome, a vibrant bar and professional (and gracious) staff Menu was epic, so great to find somewhere that chose different proteins and presented/cooked well. “They have the best wings in Hamilton. They always taste very fresh and juicy. I've had the mild, bbq, Thai sweet chili and Buffalo hot. They were great everytime. The food was affordable 60 wings for only around $50 and for the size and quality it's an absolute steal. The pizza here is also absolutely phenomenal. The crust is like no other and enjoyable. Their sauce is not too sweet or acidic but just right. They use high quality mozzarella and it shows, and are very generous with it. They also always put lots of topping. I usually get the shawarama pizza, canadianN or BBQ chicken. The Greek pizza and gyro pizza are also very unique, and I enjoyed the taste. There's so many options it truly is National and I never get board. National pizza is a Hamilton classic and a must try!”

The location is lovely and excellent eclectic decor. Now, THE FOOD. Holy Motherless Goats!!! The flavor profiles are unique (chocolate jalapeño butter with balsamic for the table bread = MIND BLOWN), the presentation and the quality is some of the best we’ve ever had. Apparently with a coupon they won’t stamp your loyalty card anymore due to head office! (there’s nothing on the coupon stating otherwise) Ive never had an issue in the past with stamps and coupons lol. The bathrooms had no electricity! Big hazard… and when I was paying for my meal there was a price error! The coupon stated $17.99 and he rang me up as $23.93? I had to explain tax on $17.99 comes to $20.32 and then he understood and finally came to terms. They should definitely work on those things so for next time I can rate them a 5 Star. Keep your loyal customers happy! No unnecessary behaviour by not honouring procedures, people will keep on coming to support your business.”
