If you are Persian living in the Newmarket area and looking for back-home style bread, check out Ava Pastry. They bake all sorts of traditional bread with a high quality and a more excellent taste and texture.
Some pastries were a little bit dry and they overstuffed the doughnuts and it was gooping out the side, but 10 out of 12 items purchased were good / as expected. Recommend getting a straw with short point on end of a pastry bag and filling doughnuts that way. Cheesecake was slightly dry but flavourful. Perhaps not freshly made that day. Biscotti was perfect.

Barbari is not good and you can't use it if put in a frigider. I prefer Vatan Supermarket Barbari.But Sangak is good.The store is not organized well and also some of the items are in different places.
