“Cobs is a great little store to get your bread fix. The staff are always friendly when we go and if there is a big line it moves quickly. We go regularly to get our bread. They also have delicious flavoured t-bisquits, croissants and other little pastries.It is a great place to check out and get some carbs while you are there.“
“This is not a restaurant, it's a cheese cake bakery shop. I think they opened not too long ago. This is the first time I visit them. A very simple bakery shop special in making Japanese Style Cheese Cake . I have picked the original taste cheese cake and 2 mini cup cake size cake. The kids love it very much . “A sweet and cozy little experience, felt like a small grocer out of the UK, but obviously a bit more Canadian-like. Always passed by this establishment on my way to and from work, so I decided to give the place a visit, and ended up meeting a very polite and friendly lady at the counter inside. The other shoppers that I met inside were all nice and polite too, made it feel like a Little England straight out of those classy movies! Well maybe I exaggerated a little bit but I was surprised at the friendliness of the customer service here while giving me the personal space as well.If the time allows in the near future, I shall be back as a regular customer!“
“The Maids Cottage offers very delicious and freshly baked butter tarts, and other pastries, with unique and seasonal flavours! I've visited this shop twice and both times, all of their products were freshly baked and absolutely delicious! Some of the butter tarts can be a tad too sweet, so it's best to ask the staff which flavours are less sweet, if you're sensitive to too much sweetness/sugar; for me, I don't mind and as I visit every so often, they're a real treat when I do visit to pick up a few tarts! The staff are always friendly, and the pastries and tarts are fairly priced for the quality received. The shop is located in historic Main Street, and I would suggest visiting during the mornings to have the best selections of flavours available. Always happy to visit this shop, thanks! :)“

“This is a great place for breakfast. The bagels are fresh made, eggs etc came out perfectly cooked and fresh. Try the cheddar/jalapeño cream cheese on your bagel. It has just the right amount of cheese flavour with some heat to it.The service is always good and the servers are all professionals and polite.This is my favorite place in Newmarket.“
