For a fast food chain, I always get consistently good food and service here . Not sure why so many negative reviews are left . Whenever I order, everything is made fresh and the staff always tries their best . The location is pretty much always clean when I visit . Sure some days you can tell they are short on staff, so there may be a little wait (but what restaurant isn't short staff these days)? Taking this down to three stars after continuing issues with gift cards. Their machines don't scan cards, apparently, if they are from outside stores (Shoppers etc). I am aware of this and told them to manually enter the card number, but recently an employee got surly with me insisting my cards were no good until I pushed repeatedly for her to do it manually and it worked. Everything was very nice. Burgers were very good, and so was the poutine. After being in a few A&W branches, I can say this one is quick and efficient. My order was ready in about 3 minutes, and it was tasty and hot even though I picked up and went home.
